Hello everyone, I'm Eddie, and I have applied to join Suffolk Constabulary. I passed the paper-sift process and now sweating and feeling the "Westshire strain", preparing for my assessment next month. :sweatingbullets: I feel my weakest point ATM will be the report writing, so practicing profusely and trying to incorporate my 7 core competencies into every one... as well as learning them in case I get quizzed.

Hi All, Am currently in the process of trying to prepare for an Assessment Day with West Mercia-Thurs 3rd July. Cant believe its only under 2 weeks away ;-( Im finding it hard to work full-time and study at the same time...I guess we are all in the same boat though... Hello everyone Glad to be onboard.....because I am bored! I've been in the Police a few years but I'm off work following getting some internal injuries whilst arresting a guy who didn't want to play along. Mind you.... the courts dealt with him severely...and fined him £50 ...so he won't be doing that again in a hurry!! Been off for 6 weeks and looks like I'll be off another 3 at least...but on the plus side I might be going to the Police convalescence home at Harrogate soon... so that's good news! Hello I'm about halfway through my 8 week pre-employment training with Surrey Police. I am already a member of another police forum but as many members have recently had 'the call' and started their training they don't visit the forum anymore and the info swapping & banter has dried up hence I am looking elsewhere for info/support...here for example :tongue: I am enjoying the pre-employment training at the moment as it's informative but not too demanding but I know the work will get alot harder once we start our 'proper' training (i.e paid & full time) but i'm still really looking forward to it.
