Hi all, Joined the site last nite, was writing up a new topic when my laptop batt went dead! Ragin! Anyway, i'm here, applied to PSNI, am waiting word back from vetting. This is a great site with loads of great info, it's really useful coz if i'm unsuccessful with the PSNI i'm considering applying to a force in England. Although I have posted a bit on the forums I thought I introduce myself a bit! I'm 18, finished school this June and looking for a job! I hope to go to university in September 2009 and want to enjoy myslef for the next 3-4 years! I wish to join the police in either London (MET) or GMP and specialise as either an Armed Response Officer or join CID, I'm not quite sure yet!

Found this forum today and decided to sign up. Hello everyone, just recently finished university, and moved to leeds to start my process of applying for the west yorkshire police force! a friend told me about this brillaint website! Hi all, I`m trying to get into Strathclyde Police (I see I`m in good company as there are loads here so far) I`ve got my final interview on the 11th of August and I`m pretty much starting to flap Is there anybody that can give me any tips, example of questions etc that they might ask (I work in London so don`t have time to see a probationer) Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! My name's Adam, i'm 18, i am not a police officer, but i hope to join the Hertfordshire constabulary in the coming years. The main reasons i want to join the police is because i feel that we all, as humans, have a duty to help our fellow man, and we must try to make each others lives a nice place to live, the world already has too many horrible people in it, we don't need anymore, am i right. :wink: One of the things i really want to do is give youths that commit crime a helping hand and a second chance, and tackle antisocial behaviour in all its forms. And i look good in blue. (Just kidding)

Hi All, Well, I have just submitted my application to the Lothian and Borders - fingers crossed I get through to the next stage. I have been training for a while and unfortunately, now suffering from runners knee!!
