I'm currently going through the process of applying to join the Leicestershire Constabulary. I've read a lot on here but never written anything. I've got through the PIRT and have my fitness on the 21st of sept. It appears that Leics are trying to get people through quickly at the mo. I do have a question though, when I called to confirm the date for the fitness test they did say this was the first of two, the second being with the fire service and a lot harder. I can find no confirmation of this anywhere, is this the case? Any info greatly appreciated. Statty

hello all, i've just registered and i plan on using these forums alot. I'm a Armed forces leaver, serving 4 years in the RAF Regiment including tours of Iraq and Afghanistan. I've recently applied to West Mercia Constabulary (haven't heard back yet!). I've also applied for the MDP, i sent away my application form and i got my assessment centre dates the following day! Now thats quick. I used exactly the same competency based questions on both applications so im hoping for a shot at assessment with West Mercia. I'm currently slugging my way through the CNC application form also.......can you tell i want to be in the Police badly! Take Care, Tarnie

Hello! Few weeks ago me and a friend of mine went for some shooping. In one store she did what is called ''shoplifting'' even if I told her to stop it and put it back. The thing was that someone saw her and before we know it we found ourselfs in the security office waiting for the police. When they arrived , based on what that whitness declared, we were acused of dishonestly appropriated property belongings.Even if I told them that I didn't steal anything, they said that by being there when the felony was done, I was part of it and agreed with it. I got a penlty notice and now I've applied for a cleaner job in a care home. Of course they are checking my CRB now and my q…
