Hi, I joined the forum to expand my knowledge of the British Transport Police.

Hi all, I'm MA0401 and I have joined the website as I am extremely interested in policing. I hope, that in a couple of months, I can join Police Scotland as a Special Constable somewhere in Glasgow! I left school after my fifth year and later went on to become a Sheriff Officers Assistant which involved travelling throughout Glasgow, and as far south as Stranraer and Dumfries. In January I was forced to resign by my employer after contracting pneumonia and pleurisy and have now made a full recovery. Now, I am awaiting to hear back from a few colleges and also some Police Staff positions. As I previously said, I hope to apply to become a Special at the next intake afte…

Hello! I have worked for the ambulance service part time for a few years and am now a student at Newcastle University. I've (finally) been successful in my application as an SC in Northumbria Police. I think I'll be starting in late May. I can't wait! Hopefully I can use this forum to share my application experience with others and ask some questions myself.
