Looking for a bit of advice about living on your own and disposable income. I have decided that I would be much happier living on my own instead of in a shared house, everyday the kitchen is a disgrace and I have trouble preparing meals etc. Also the utility bills are a little excessive and I think some of the younger people in my house don't fully appreciate how much bills costs these days. Working on my salary, which doesn't fluctuate, I have calculated that I would have about £200 left of disposable income for things like nights out, booze, shiny stuff like blu-rays etc.. Does that seem reasonable, or would that be rather hard living? Here are my calculations: M…

So, it's the start of yet another week, does it ever end? I had a special shift last night that was supposed to end at midnight but I started a job at 22:30 and stayed until the end at 01:05. Not too bad.... ....except someone tried for the world record for swearing at me, continuously :new_thmbdn2: . 'No matter how much you swear at me Sir, you are still being recorded and you still are under arrest' TIme to unwind a wee bit before bed

I was almost tempted to place this in the real world but in all honesty this guy doesn't deserve a place in the real world. If this is his honest held belief then I really do despair. It's witchcraft! Witchcraft I tell you! This is reproduced from a blog and can be found here http://slatpai.wordpress.com/2014/01/17/henley-ukip-councillor-david-silvester-in-bizarre-homophobic-rant/ There is also an article about it in several newspapers but here's one from the Daily Mirror. A leading bookmaker has suspended betting on the Queen announcing her abdication by the end of the year after a large gamble was placed in the Windsor area. Coral has temporarily halted all bets on whether the Queen will hand over the reins to Prince Charles until further notice following the £200 stake placed today. The bookmaker slashed odds on Her Majesty stepping down this year after news emerged over the weekend that she would be handing over a number of royal responsibilities to Prince Charles. The Prince of Wales’ press team are to merge with staff at Buckingham Palace, fuelling speculation about a possible abdication. After a flurry of small bets Coral cut th…

Gun Manufacturers Smith & Wesson have unleashed their newest revolver: a monster .460 calibre handgun which they say is 'great for a back-up gun, or for hunting'. Named the 'Backpack Cannon', the gun was unveiled in Las Vegas on Monday at the Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade show, the largest gun show in the U.S., which around 60,000 gun fans attend every year. The cannon features a three-inch barrel, high visibility sights and synthetic shock absorber on the rear of the handle, as well as a massive chamber to fit the gigantic .460 calibre rounds, which are some of the biggest and most powerful bullets in the world. Paul Pluff, who works for Smith & Wesson…
