The fiance and I were out today just generally milling about and just out of nowhere she turned and said to me, "You do realised you're dressed like a copper?" Me being confused as hell just looked at her and and without needing to say explain she just answered it by saying, "You are wearing black leather boots, khaki coloured cargo trousers, a white t-shirt and a black jacket. You just look like an off duty copper." Political history may be in the making today if UKIP win the bye-election in Clacton. I do hope they do, even if it only gives Cameron and his oik a kick up the eighties so to speak. I have a feeling in my bones that we are not going to see an out and out party winner at a general election for quite a long while now, so perhaps people ought to prepare themselves for coalitions for a while.
