All, Does anyone know if we will get a call from recruiting to confirm successful completion of the final stages after the conditional offer? Ie medical, fitness, drugs testing, final vetting and references? Im due to finish work a week on fri and was hoping to give a weeks notice, ie this friday. The sgt said at final fitness we would get a letter but thats at least another week from now (for 12th starts). Anyone heard anything yet? Cheers

Hi folks Has anyone heard if they are through to the final panel interview yet? I'm still waiting....

I was told last week by a sergeant at recruiting that there have been 2200 applications for 250 jobs. Im guessing that because that was from the horses mouth so to speak - then its true. Id previously heard that there were 500 jobs. Has anyone else been told this? It would be interesting to find out how many of the 2200 have passed the papar sift. I know it has no bearing on my application, but it would be nice to get an idea.

Just curious how Central Scotland Police shifts work, Is there a set shift pattern? If so what is it and what times are the shifts? Thanks Jim

Just a thought!, what does the final fitness test entail? s it just a run? or is it more such as a strength test aswell?
