Hi everyone, I've been going through the application process with Lothian and Borders, I can't believe how quick its going! Passed my Assessment Centre the other day, so now Im going through vetting and reference checks. I don't have a date for my final panel interview yet but think its going to be sometime in August. My one to one interview at A/C wasn't bad,very competency based. But I need to imporve my knowledge of the force and current campaigns. I am starting to panic for the final interview and feel I don't really know where to start with it. Hey guys, could someone tell me how long they had to wait to receive their letter, confirming their SET test. I sent in my application via e-mail about 2 weeks ago. A week ago, I phoned up the recruitment team and I was told they received my application,but I have not had a letter confirming this. Should I be concerned? I hope it will be fine. Thank you.

Has anyone ever had to do the bleep test rather than the run and if so any tips? Is it the bleep test if its raining?

I'm currently going through my vetting and I'm on my 7th week. I know other specials have been waiting longer n were all wondering why it's taking ages. I'm wondering if any other special in the same boat and the reason why being a special is taken longer.

Is anybody else still waiting for a SET and Fitness date? I was told that they have dates arranged up until the end of the year, have no spaces available at the moment, but are trying to arrange more. Has anybody else been told this?!
