Good Evening all, I'm currently going through the process of applying to Grampian Police and have, just today, got the news that I passed my initial interview . How I don't know, considering how nervous I was. Obviously the next stage is the Assessment Centre. Can anybody give me any headups for what to expect both for the assessment centre part and the final interview which occurs the same day. Also, has anyone got any tips for keeping nerves at bay. I was a quivering wreck at my initial interview. Cheers for now

Ok, you lot. I'm aware of, roughly 4 Grampian Specials that regularly visit the site. So, to this end, I'm sure there's hundreds more oot there (only ye're too feart tae come oot!!), it's time to stand up and be counted. List as follows: Gazza (C'est moi) John (Mon 'Mucka' extroidinarre) SpecialSpecial (L'enfant terrible) Kvandel (Le applicante hopefulle) et vous?.........................................................................

'How are officer's taught at Tulliallan?' I was asked this question at my Initial Interview and I replied 'that it is mostly classroom/lecture based, officers are expected to study independently to fill any gaps in their knowledge and a lot is learned through the use of role plays'. Apparently there is a mock pub, supermarket etc at the college (???) I thought that was correct but got the impression that I should look into it a bit more. I live over 250 miles from Fife and visiting Tulliallan is out of the question, I have already been back and forth for interviews, station visits etc. and it isn't cheap to travel! The Tulliallan prospectus doesn't give much inform…

Hi folks, just wondering if anyone is going up to the first interview and AC on Friday (23rd) in Edinburgh? I have been reading, studying and speaking to different officers for ages now and am getting a bit of 'square eye syndrome' with all the online studying :-) Is there anyone on here that went up yesterday (20th)? Just wondering how you got on. Cheers!!

My initial was 1min 30 under the time limit - how much will I have lost this? In the past 7 weeks I have been to the gym a few times and thats it. Im a total idiot.

Hi all, first time caller here, I’ve got my final interview next week and just topping up my knowledge of the force. From reading the other final interview posts I’ve gathered that there will be a lot of scenario based questions, which I think I would prefer. Just wanting to know if anyone that has been through the final interview has any advice for me? Do they ask a lot of knowledge based questions as well? Thanks in advance and good luck to all who are in the same boat!

Hello again! Ok, im in a state of blind panic at the moment.... I've passed my SET, Fitness and now my initial interview. All was going extremely well, pretty much untill i was driving home in the car one afternoon and something came to me from completely out of the blue! Without boring you with loads of detail and sob stories, i suspect i may have a caution against my name which i didnt declare. Its so minor its not worth describing in any detail, and im still not 100% sure i officially received a caution, or simply a ticking off from the officer at the time (as i cannot recall any letters from fiscal, i certainly wasnt fined, locked up, taken away or anything) This…
