Hi, Im looking to find out any pointers that anybody can give me on what to expect on the final interview if they have sat it after the change over. Curious to know should I know all the new directives and areas etc? Thanks in advance Gary

Might sound like a mad question but should I wear anything in particular to the uniform fitting? I have a pair of Magnums I can wear. Dr B To add I don't mean just boots and going naked rambler style before anyone says ha ha - wouldn't be a good start to my police career!

Just wanted to see who had gotten through the assessment centre on Tuesday. Was an interesting day and hoping that a lot of the lads on the day passed. On to Final Panel Interview now!!!

Thats me passed all the things I can influence passed my fitness test yesterday so just the medical and vetting now......... :D

Who are they? Where are they based? What is their patrol area?

Hey guys new to this forum! Have just passed the Standard Entrance and am off to do my fitness on the 26th of March! Looking forward to the whole process, however, there is a written assignment that takes place shortly after the fitness for 1 hour. I can't seem to find much information on it, well any that doesn't cost at least 50 quid! If anyone has some information on this it would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, B-Man

Quick question. Is Police Scotland still accepting passes of the SET exam from the old force structures? For example, if you were a SC in Strathclyde would you have to pass the SET again for Police Scotland?

Anyone know what's happening since the debranding, Strathclyde warrant card holders were good in my opinion I used mine as my wallet but now since debranding, is there a replacement being designed or offered?

The last part of Grampian as a distinct region (Grampian Police) looks like it will disappear in the near future with the proposal for a single Scottish force looking increasingly likely. So I thought I'd start a poll to see what you all love and hate about the region before it finally disappears.

Hi All, I am from England and have applied to join the Grampian Police as a Police Constable. I have my assessment day coming up, which I feel fairly prepared for but will be doing everything I can over the next few days to make sure I do the best I can do. My questions are, for anyone in Grampian as a PC: - What should I expect in the interview? standard one like other forces? - How many days are there to attend other than the first and second assessment days? - What is the main source of crime in the Grampian area, I have had a look but can't seem to find any stats? All answers appreciated Thanks :D
