Alfie Moore, a PS from Humberside is up doing his standup act at the Fringe again this year. 2150 at the Pleasance. I saw him a few years back at the Fringe and when he came as the after dinner act at a specials conference at Tulliallan. He was on an ITV standup show 'Show Me The Funny' a while back and his comedy career seems to have picked up since then. So if anyone is looking for something to see at the Fringe then it should be a good laugh.

Hi everyone...just signed up to the forum thinking there'd be copious remarks, observations and suchlike with regard to our current merger (or is it hostile takeover)... Hi guys, couple of questions. Been reading up on the forum about start dates after medical and final fitness. Few people mentioned they passed their "FPI". What is this "FPI"? I've been looking around and can't seem to find anything. I've passed my final interview, so I know that next on the agenda is final vetting checks, medical, final fitness and uniform fitting. For the final fitness, do you have to beat your initial fitness test time? I done mines 10mins 18s. Thanks.

How long before the start of your course did you find out the date and everything had been passed including vetting ????? I cant stop checking my phone :new_sweat:

Hi guys, Passed my final interview the other week and was told that it would be sometime before final vetting checks were done and a final fitness. The question is, I was a witness at court about two and a half years ago and I completely forgot all about it till now! I obviously haven't declared it in my vetting form or anything. Am I'm better phoning up and letting them know about this or does it make no difference? Thanks for your help.

Hi all, I'm currently completing my basic driving authorisation for Police Scotland, passed my medical and the next step is a test based on the Highway Code. This is really all I know about it, was just wondering if anyone could provide an insight into how it works, and if you have any non-specific (of course) advice? I'll get studying my copy of the Highway Code in the meantime! Many thanks
