Howdy folks! Anyone got a date for their FPI who applied to L&B? I'm still waiting at the moment. I'm hoping it'll be in late June or early July! Tips welcome!

Well according to the wiki page for 'The Scheme' the BBC are filming a new series in Edinburgh at the moment to be aired later this year. Hi guys , currently sitting in the recruitment pool awaiting date for final fitness and intake at Tulliallen. Just wondered if anyone has recently been through Tulliallen or has any info from there time there. Any information really heard few things about Forrest runs and drill sessions oh an food being terrible :-/

I was just thinking earlier if Scotland’s now one force if you are a special in one area and move to another force area or live on the border of two force areas will you now be able to just change where you want to work rather than having to go through recruitment again ? Or could you even just go work in another force area as a one off to see the differences? :new_bye1:

What is the situation with the national uniform across the board? Pre Day 1 of the National Force Tayside officers of all ranks had it drilled into them what the standard would be, and what must and will be worn with no exceptions. This came across from our Div commander in Tayside and the wording gave the impression that this was going to be his personal standard in his division, so im not too sure if this is what is expected across the force (all divisons) All Tayside division officers will wear either the high visability blousen/bomber or high visability equipment carrier at all times. Mods, now that Police Scotland is well up and running (although that's a matter of opinion!), can consideration be given to just having one Force Specific topic to go on and lock the others as they are no longer relevant and may just dilute any further contributions on policing in Scotland. Anyone else got a view on this please chip in ta.
