Can you use the met email address as a method of communication with a recruitment agency?

Hi there, Well after a year of being in the application process (had to put it in the back burner due to work), finally got my course date (18th April). Im now waiting for something in writing just to confirm that all is well and real. Anyone have any advice on what I need to do to get ready for the course. Should I be in the gym everyday? Is there any background reading I can do? Should I arrange a station visit? After so long I cant believe its finally here, All being well end of May will see me on borough (EK), excited isnt the word! Also is there any parking near to Hendon during the week? Thanks again for all your info and support over the last 12 months.

Tomorrow i am supposed to be attending a presentation at empress state building about the day 1 interview. However, i will not be able to make it. Will someone advise me on what to do... Could i book another one? Furthermore, could someone let me in on what i will be missing, i'm sure it's not recruitment sensitive information so if anyone could share, i would be grateful. Thanks.

I saw a van... did not have any Met Police Livery. It was some sort of locksmith vehicle which repairs door locks i think? and on the dash board it says on a piece of paper " working on behalf of metropolitan police, Responding to Urgent Call" with the metropolitan police logo. Do we issue such documents? I think it was trying to park anywhere

What bits of kit have you hardly used or not at all? There seems to be a lot of overlap in what's issued, but somehow still leaving holes in what's needed...

I'm approaching my attestation date now, having finished training, and it's becoming apparent that to make my life easier I'm going to need some more shoulder numbers and SC crowns. As it is I will have two sets fairly determinant attached to coats that don't use removable epaulettes, and will therefore only have one set spare - meaning I'll have to constantly swap them between shirt, jumper, metvest and Hi Viz etc. More importantly I'll probably forget to do this, and I don't want to start breaking force policy the moment I start on borough. What is the best way to get more sets of numbers and crowns? I know they are for sale on the internet, but I'd rather get some…

Hi, when i was younger, i had an accident playing football and broke my wrist. I had to have metal pins put in to correct the break. My wrist is now fully functional and i have full movement and strength in my wrist. But im not sure if i will be accepted becasue i still have the metal pins in my wrist. Please any suggestions.
