Just wanted to see what everyones thoughts on whether we should have SPS or S.Insp. . . My personal experience is there isnt much need for them. Do they have any real weight? if yes, Why?

New here but not new to the MPS. Considering a transfer to PL - any existing MSC officers from the borough here who would be prepared to share their thoughts either in public or private?

Hi all I had my attestation on Saturday! Was brilliant and so proud of everyone in my class who also attested. I had a question in regards to having your warrant card on you at all times. I live in an Essex Police area and will only every be entering the Met police area when Im actually going to/from shifts at the police station. Does keeping my warrant card on me at all times count? Thanks

Had a meeting yesterday at Chigwell, not been in there for a few years now. What an absolute shambles - There was no food - at lunch time. There was none serving at the cafeteria, I used the machine to make a few cups of tea, and then wandered about trying to find someone to pay. Eventually found a fella in reception - by the time I got that sorted my tea was cold. On trying to pay for the 2nd round - the guy behind the ramp at the bar area - wanted to charge £2.60 for 2 teas, when I queried why it was 75p each half an hour ago - he got all arsey and sent me off to the reception again. Stopped off for a gypseys on the way out and the toilets were filthy. Very disap…

Hi everyone, I attest on this sat at Hendon! No doubt a few people from my class will read this also. But I haven't had any contact from my borough at all (Brent) I tried phoning some number I was given from Hendon but alas just an answer phone. So I'm stuck really, and I don't know my shoulder number, which I'd like in the photos on sat! Can anyone help? Brent tel number? Any any idea how to get my shoulder number? And possibly the special Sargent for Brent is on here, if so that would help massively. Many thanks Andy

Can anyone who has done this let me know if the kit is issued there and then or if there is a wait to have it delivered to OCU and could they PM me to tell me which building on the street name I've been given it's on? Got my fitting next week.
