While browsing music videos on youtube I came across the song jungle by Proffessor Green. I watched the video and understand music videos go through scrutiny before they are released, but watching this video is shows alot of brutality, beating along with a lot of gang behaviour. With alot of artists such as Eminem and others out there I know this is a genre of music but should of video depicting what this does be out there for others to watch and try to emulate? I'm getting a tad bit fed up with the way British TV has implied that all young men get somewhat aggressive or violent when they have had one too many. Like some of us, I've been known on many occasion to have had a little more then I should have on a night out. However, never have I got violent, aggressive or relied on anyone else, other then a cab/night bus driver, to get me home. Hi there. The police here in Iceland are in the midst of a salary dispute with the local government. The annual salary for Icelandic police constables has fallen way behind the normal salary growth for other employees in the government sector, for example customs officers have about 20% higher salary. We are looking for ways to legally force the government to come to terms with us since the dispute is moving backwards if anything and coming up short. Our right to strike was revoked via contract in 1986 here and put in law some years later. I get a lot of calls from people asking when the reprimands, cautions and convictions will be removed from their record. Alright, The other day I was pondering the thought of the UK having more 'smaller, specialised' constabularies - by smaller I dont necessarily mean in size, I mean more in jurisdictional role or force specialisation. Now i'm obviously very biased on the subject being a BTP officer as I feel we do our job fairly well with the limited resources we have available to us nationally. Hi, I was just wondering in terms of peoples personal opinions which is better Tetra Radio or Smart Phone? The rail company I work for has given us all Blackburys packed with company apps that will give us almost every detail about the running of trains within the UK and the info is updated every 2 mins. It also gives us the whole UK rail timetable, and we use it to check names and address of fare evaders and their pervious. But, I would swap all of that for the ability to be able to communicate with the people I work with over the whole rail network with just the touch of a button like TETRA offers. Not sure if this has been said before, I'm not even sure if this should be posted here or in "It's the law" section. With all the problems that the NHS have with aggressive members of the public now days. I'm sure it would be worth while the government thinking about bringing in a law similar to "assaulting a police officer" but for the more general public sector workers like teachers, social workers, and NHS staff? I'm aware that anyone assaulting anyone is a crime, but just having a law like "Assault on a civil servant"/"assault on staff" will act as a deterrent. If someone assaults an on duty PCSO can they be prosecuted for assaulting a police officer? (I'm not aft…
