A) Up and down the land people are smashing intoeach other in their cars. There is only damage only, nobody’s hurt, theyexchange details and go on their way. B) Up and down the land people are smashing intoeach other in their cars. There is not only damage – there is an injury but itsminor and the driver doesn’t want an Ambulance. They exchange details and go on their way. In both of the above the Police would probably not be calledhowever both meet the criteria to require their RTC to have to be reportable bythe driver to the Police. They don’t andI believe that the Police would have little interest in pursuing the driversfor the offence of failing to report. …

I know that giving evidence at court is probably low down the list of anyone's favourite activity, but which do you prefer? The organised chaos of the magistrates court or the formaility of the Crown Court? As someone with lots of experience of working in the former, I often used to wonder whether officers viewed the magistrates court as a bit of an easy outing compared to the Crown Court, although accepting of course that much depends on the case matter and who you are facing.

I attest in 2 weeks and I've been told we have a roleplay assessment. These sort of things make me nervous as none of us feel very prepared (anyone that's done the special training will probably know what I mean as you barely scrape the surface of policing). So can anyone give me any information on how theirs went and what this will entail. Thanks in advance

As you are all aware there is a proposed TUC Day of Action on the 30th November. This will have an impact on policing as well as many other Agencies. I was wondering what your views are with regards to backfilling for Regular colleagues who may be called to cover essential parts of policing such as control room? What are your views on Specials in this day and age covering picket lines or other essential roles to try and have business as usual in policing?

Hi, I am new to this forum and if possible would like some advice please. :D Back om Monday 17 October early hours, due to getting lost, SAT NAV played up and there was apparantely a road diversion. This family member is almost 23 years old and been driving with a clean licence since the age of 19, used to travelling far distances within Britain due to a job promotion and the first offence was committed with doing over the limit as stated on the above date. He had obviously not been stopped before with all the driving he has done, so silly that to happen now! Especially as a young driver. Anyway, all I am aware of is that there was himself and another driver in a perf…
