I have a Vauxhall Corsa-C and im wanting to fit some Xenons/HID's to it, i have projector style headlamps. Is it legal to fit them to my car? I've been told it's ok to fit them to the (Projector style) headlamps is these dont blind other road uses as much as the standard non projectile lamp. All my mates have fitted them to there cars and they've told me to stick to 6000k colour temp as your less likley to get pulled over for them being to blue. Justwant everyones opinions on this really Cheers.

It's got a TR6P (police spec) engine in it and I bought it off a gentleman whose father ( Mr Farmer)used to run the Trials team in the 1970s and worked at the Hendon driving school. The original owner was Dave Randall who was one of the three members of the Met Police Trials team (Dave Hobbs, Dave Randall and Dennis Glover) who competed in the 1973 and 1974 International six days trials and won medals for the met.police and great britain - as well as winning them in lots of other competitions. Yesterday I went to Alton Towers with my girlfriend and some friends. Whilst waking around the park and also whilst queuing for several rides there were a lot of people openly rolling spliffs and smoking cannabis. Although a few people seemed to quietly show their displeasure no one acted upon it. Several times whilst queuing the distinctive smell and smoke was blowing in my direction. Obviously not only is it illegal they are also smoking it in a place full of families and young children. The park itself was packed yesterday and all the staff seemed too busy to notice... Would/should anyone take any action?

Hi guys, I have my first essay, and I am having some touble. here is the breif Case Study (1500 words) The first element of this assessment involves undertaking a Case Study that investigates the skills and competences that are required for your chosen career. This will encompass the use of your study, research and ICT skills and you will also have to show the use of appropriate statistical information. You should make appropriate reference to the theoretical perspectives that have informed your experience and/or knowledge within your chosen subject area. My chosen career is the Police Force. Any ideas what I can talk about here? Regards

I'm creating a mock case file for my degree in uni and as a part of case files as you know it includes the MG 11, so my question is, how should the URN look? I'm not asking for any real URNs just an example of how it should look as I'd like to make it look as realistic as possible even though it's a mock. Most appreciated in advance Josh

Hi, I'm doing some research for college about runaway teenagers and thought this might be a good place to get some answers. So the situation is a 16 year old teenager has left a note for his parents saying he has decided to runaway, if the parents called Police what would be the standard procedure be? eg: interviews, investigations, appeals etc. Also would the procedure change depending on whether the teenager has been in trouble with the law, has mental health problems/depression, is ill, has written a reason as to why he has ran away etc. Also due to the teenagers age does this cause a problem legally as he may be classed as a 'young man' as to a 13 year old runnin…
