He's frighten, he wouldn't leave her & husband alone, he is also knocking on thier next door neighboor. On one is carming him down! His has been know to be violent, been arrested for stealing. You sell a vehicle on Ebay, the person pays you via paypal and arranges to collect. Person never arrives and after several attempts by email, Ebay and letter there is still no reply. Fast forwards several months, still no reply to another letter. You still have the vehicle and you still have the money and the buyer has never responded and your 12 months down the line. What would you do? (I know this is not criminal law but its a question I had from MOP and I will post the answer I gave (right or wrong) when there are a couple of replies)

As a police officer urinating in public; especially those who work/have worked town and city centres - is a common thing to deal with. Because it's so common it makes dealing with every single instance a bit difficult. Whilst trawling the internet before I drag myself off into work for the next shift, I came across this video; http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/81634945/ All apparently occurred within one hour! You can tell the guy is clearly quite angry (and rightly so) at people urinating against his property and in the surrounding area. My question is this; If you were tasked to deal with this (and I don't mean deal with ONE guy - I'm talking about stopping the…

You are patrolling on your own down the road at 1:00 in the morning and you hear something suspicious in a ally. You go to take a look and you find two men robbing an innocent lady. one of the suspect is known to have a conviction for assault with an offensive weapon believably to be a pistol in the past. the other suspect is known for multiple offences ranging from attempted murder to robbery. As you approach the two men you radio in but the nearest back up is miles away. At this point the two men hasn't notice you. You also know that these two men are wanted and both of them have not turned up for their trial in court . All you have is a taser, one pair of handcuff, cs s…

Alright folks, trying to brush up on a bit of law and practical situations. what would you do in following circs: Called by housing / council to a builing site. building site has 4 old houses that are councils property and are to be knocked down and re developed into new houses. The builing site has been secured by metal fencing that provides a perimeter around the houses. To enter the site a gate must be openeing. This gate is on the driveway which has a drop curb. Residents have blockaded the only entrance to the sight and padlocked the gate and formed a line to stop builders entering the site for whatever reason. They have formed this line on the driveway with …

You witness all these incidents whilst off duty. You are however carrying your warrant card. Would you intervene and if so, would you make it known that you are a police officer? How (if at all) would you deal with the matter? 1. A car speeds past in a reckless manner. It is going well over the speed limit (enough for a ban). The driver pulls up just ahead of you and enters a newsagent. Three others remain in the car. 2. Three schoolchildren are walking ahead of you when one picks up a bottle of milk from a doorstep, opens it and begins to drink the contents whilst walking on. 3. A woman receives both sexual and racist abuse from workmen nearby and she is visibly upset…

Can anyone recommend decent in-ear earphones that don't break after about five minutes of normal use? I'd like reasonable sound quality but the technical specs don't need to be amazing, and I'd prefer something fairly inexpensive. Oh, and sturdy. (For some reason the pricier ones tend to last less well. I suppose there's more that can go wrong.) This is now the second time in about six months that I've had to make use of the insurance on this pair. (EDIT: not the same pair, obviously! This brand.) Either the... thingy... that connects to the computer/ MP3 player breaks or one side just cuts out, and it's getting a little tiresome!

Looking through some of the forum, there seems to be a number of excluded users. Quite a lot of them seem reputable users with thousands of posts. I assume this is at the request of the users themselves more often than not?

i was watching an episode of NCIS the other day (it's quite good lol) and the guy in the autopsy came up with a scenario: guy has a heart attack in bed and dies of it, and his wife comes home later angry that he left her out of his will and stabs him, thinking she's killed him. would she be charged with intent to kill or would there be no evidence seeing as he's already dead??

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I need help with research. Setting - Scotland, Aberdeen to be more specific for my scenario. The former owner of a property has been asked to vacate due to non-payment (rents, mortgage, etc. etc). A writ of possession has been issued, the former owner has been given several days to vacate the property. He refuses on all accounts. He will not budge! What happens next? I assume the property would be seized? What type of Law Enforcement is involved? Thanks in advance.

Police are called to a crime scene where a burglar is found dead with several knife wounds in the home he successfully broke into. Within the house lives Mr Smith, Mrs Smith and two sons both aged 21 and 23. The knife that was used to stab and kill the burglar is no where to be found. The family decline to comment absolutely, and do so all throughout questioning. The police have no possible suspects and zero forensic evidence connecting either one to the crime. The crime scene has been cleared up, but the knife used to kill the burglar was never recovered. The 4 suspects have chosen to remain silent and not comment all throughout questioning. What happens next?

A std carpark with barrier at the exit. 1 car goes through and a second rushes through behind without putting a ticket in the machine and presumably not paying for it. Now this is well into civil offence territory but can anyone come up with an offence that the second driver could have committed.
