In 2016 we purchased the other three forums to create the largest network of policing forums in the UK, something we are exceptionally proud about. New Membership Packages Following on from the acquisition of 3 new policing forums to the group we have reviewed the Membership Packages and decided that we are going to give them a re-vamp and make them consistent across the sites. They will still have access to everything they already do and will still be able to interact as they currently do. The only slight change to the existing members will be …

All Members I have made the Invision theme the default version for now as the POLCOM one is becoming plagued with ads fro Google which are completely irrelevant in their content and they appear to have got somewhat out of control so much so ads are taking people to a payment site to a different site all together which is unacceptable. Until it is resolved the Invision default theme will remain.

👮♂️🔒 Introducing the 'Verified Member' Rank: A Badge of Trust! 🔒👮♀️ Hello, fellow community members, We are excited to announce a new addition to our ranks that embodies trust, integrity, and dedication to public service - the 'Verified Member' rank. This special status is reserved for individuals who are currently serving as Police Officers, Special Constables, or Members of Police Staff with specific forces. In an effort to ensure the security and privacy of our community members, we have had to revamp our verification process. Due to some issues with the previous automated verification system, we are moving to a more manual approach. We understand that…

I tried again today and the same message is coming up. There are older threads, last updated longer ago, in the same area of the forum which don't seem to have the same issue. Can anyone explain what the issue is? Relevant thread:

Well what a year 2020 has been for many of us not only in the policing family but generally across all of the emergency services and public sector organisations. It has been a tough year for many people not only financially, but emotionally and mentally with lockdowns, uncertainty, fear and of course lots of fake news out there for the conspiracy theorists to feast upon. Many families have struggled with the loss of loved ones and I am sure all of us know of people who have not survived this last year. Our hearts and thoughts are with them as they come to terms with their sadness in these challenging times. Two vaccines are now approved for use and hopefull…
