Every time I start a post whether it is my own post or a reply, if I go down a line to make the paragraphs easier to read, I am finding that for some reason the previous paragraph is deleted. Really annoying, using chrome.

Hello, I'm getting a scrolling message over the top of the screen saying my account is limited when it doesn't appear to be. I though my subscription might have expired, but it is only offering me the gold package, so I assume it hasn't yet. any idea?

Weird one this, i was following the activity feed today and have noticed that 3 separate users (who all seem to have their full name) have changed their profile photos today. And yet in all 3 cases their last login date was some time in 2017 and they have never posted? If this just because i can't see enough data as a non-mod or is something weird going on??

Within last 4-5 days, it has been impossible for me to access this site from any device in my home connected to Internet via WiFi, on any browser. In Firefox I just see the "the connection has timed out" message after a while. My ISP is Sky and I use Google's DNS servers. I have rebooted router and flushed DNS cache. I tried putting my Iphone into 4G mode (disabling WiFi) and site loads fine. I am now connecting via a VPN on my desktop PC and it's working ok again. Any ideas what is wrong?

Hi just after some advice really. Got email today saying failed pre employment checks. I don’t know if work record or vetting it didn’t specify. I’ve passed everything & it’s been a year since process first started. To say I’m gutted is an understatement. I’ve read different things when others have experienced this, some have said can appeal & have been successful, some saying you can’t because they won’t tell you the reason why the fail. Anyone any advice because have experience of this or know of someone else? Thanks

Hi Does anyone happen to know the frequency range of a police radio? Is it above 3.4khz (3,400 hz)? Standard mobile devices don't go above 3.4 khz so am wondering if this is the same for police radios. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Hi all. I am a local licensing officer for a small town and I'm interested in introducing body cameras for door staff to complement the premises CCTV. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has had involvement in the use of these in this particular arena. (This will be externally funded) Regards mark.

Good morning, I hope that everyone is fine :) I intend to develop a mobile application (let`s call it a solution) and I am interested to introduce a panic button which is in a directly communication with UK Emergency Service. I read on the internet that I can make a partnership with the police to link the button to the emergency line for disabled people, but I am not sure about that. Could anyone help me to understand better how can I integrate a panic button in a mobile app, please? Thank you very much for your help! Kind regards, Alin

Hi all. When I was 13 I mixed with the wrong person, sucame to peer pressure and ended up stealing something. We recieved some words of advice from an officer before I was sent on my way. A crime report was submitted however it states I was briefly arrested (which is incorrect to the best of my knowledge). It also states it was dealt with with restoritive justice. Will this show up on PNC, or is it just n a local intelligence system? I want to move to the US and I am unsure whether this will show up on a 'police certificate'? I think police certificates only include stuff from PNC- convictions/cautions/arrests where you are taken back to a police station.…

Hi, I have applied for police Scotland last year and I failed the initial interview. Since then I have become self employed and have got myself into quite alot of debt. I know that financial status is checked during the vetting process but I was wondering how bad your debts have to be to have an impact on your application. Thanks

I keep seeing this happening, posts appear in the forum list, but I can't see them when I go to the forum. Only noticed it in the news forums though.

Please could someone help, I want to join up but not sure if I would pass the security checks due to my living arrangements! My dad had a stroke last year, my parents were almost made homeless so I decided to move home to help out financially. My issue is, he receives benefits due to being unable to work anymore. I'm not sure if it would compromise my application as I'm not sure if it's a conflict of interest of me living here and him receiving the benefits he does!!
