Last night a friend phoned me asking for some legal advice (attested only two months ago so a first for me), his friend (genuinely a friend of a friend ) wants to take his old car that is off the road for an MOT and get the thing running again. The car is insured. He wanted to know if that was ok. I told him that so long as he had a booked appointment at the test centre and drove straight there it was ok, but no scenic routes or stopping off at his mates houses! we have an awful neighbour who has caused years of upset in our street, he has been under an asbo which has now finished. What i am trying to find out if there is anything that can be done about one of his latest,more subtle, way of intimidation which is as follows; he stands outside his house day and night and throws a ball for his dog down the hill past all our houses ,today it hit our grandson and although it did not hurt him in any way(it is a soft ball) we were all intimidated by his actions which we believe was deliberate. It has come to my attention that someone is trying to discredit me by accusing me of phyiscally assaulting her.. Whilst normally i would ignore this kind of behaviour it has ramifications on other things... I am a witness for someone who is defending a claim against this woman and it was alleged to have taken place during a show that could, if she carries on complaining get me in serious trouble with. Hello. I'm in need of advice both professional and on a personal level. I live in a flat, apartment building not in the nicest area. My neighbours, not all but some are heavy drug users which caused problems for years and years. I got fed up with one living in the apartment below me so I asked the council to move me but they refused and instead asked what was going on. I told them, they got in touch then those people living below went nuts. They would jump off the walls, ceilings, run round the block, scream, shout, it was crazy before telling the council and it just got worse thereafter. I hope this question does not appear negative to all Police officers, it is certainly not meant to. If a member of the public contacts a Police officer (that is personaly known as a friend), and makes an allegation, should that officer proceed with the case, or should it be referred to another officer. The case in question resulted in arrest and conviction.

Hello All, The police attended my parent’s address a few days ago regarding some paperwork they had to give to me. I haven't lived at the family home for some years now. My parents let me know and i telephoned the station to enquire what the paper work was. I was given the contact details for the police officer and spoke to him the following day. He stated it was about some unwanted text messages that i had sent supposedly sent to someone. hi can anyone help? I am suffering harassment by a man and his children who live nearby. this has been going on for 12 months now, on and off, but has hit an all new high in the last 2 weeks. In the past, my kids have had knifes brandished on them, beaten up reguarly in the local park, threatened, abused, and told theyre not allowed on this persons street. I have a query if anyone has come across this before or has any knowledge.. I was working at an airport recently and we got called to an accident between 2 vehicles in the airside area (ie where the planes are and on private land) The cop i was with breathalyzed the driver and noted a few details but that was all that we were required to do as the airport investigates the accident.
