Can you still arrest some one on "Suspicion of committing an arrestable offence" or is there a SOCAP version?

Apparently the Home Office Counting Rules say that urinating in public (unless there are big aggravating factors) should not be recorded as a s5 Public Order Act. Can any of you learned professionals throw any light on this: I was under the impression that since the Goverment de-regulated Parking to Local Authorities that the Police had no mandate to bother with everyday parking offences like vehicles on yellow lines ? Today I became aware that when a lady stoped her vehicle to pop into our shop that within a minute, two Police Cars came down the street, one with CID Officers as occupants, the other with three uniformed officers. About 18 months ago i went out with my mates and didnt tell my mym so she didnt know where i was, so she contacted the police and said i was autistic. Because of this the police got out the helicopter and they started searching for me, by looking at my phone records they knew where i was so sent the chopper there. i did manage to get away from it which i dont really get how:s anyway with this i was just wondering if it would be on a record of mine or anything? I do want to get into the army and i dont want this to be on my record. (although they might like it that i got away from the chopper!)

Hello there this is just a quick post to see if anyone has any advice on what to do in this situation as I am finding it rather difficult. For several years now a group of families have generally made life difficult for certain other families on my street including mine and my next door neighbours. A good example was about 20 mins ago I was getting out of a taxi with some shopping and I was stood outside the taxi for around 5 minutes having a conversation with the driver. This is purely hypothetical (No, it really is, it isnt a "my friend" story etc), basically a bouncer is claiming he has the right to confiscate id, on the basis of common law "prevent a crime" happenings... A) Can a doorman/bouncer/whatever the PC term is confiscate a fake ID from a punter? B) Can a doorman/etc confiscate a real valid id from a punter, thinking its fake? C) If a doorman/bouncer/etc confistimicates my valid uk driving licence, can I use reasonable force to recover it? Ta :)

To the best of my knowledge base jumping from buildings is an offence. however i have no idea what this would be other than trespass which is sort of ended when they jump. anyone have any ideas if there is any offence specifically or one that can be adapted? i dont intend on doing any, im just a curious person

Just a quick question, Offender assaults aggrieved, the actions of the offender were such that any person at the scene (other than the person assaulted) feared for there own safety. Can the offender be locked up for the assault and also Affray under the public order act, or is this duplicity? Your thoughts my friends.

Yet another young person dies at the end of a gun, Derby this time. I am sorry to bring it up but it was also another non-white who suffered. While I do not considerer myself as a racist, it does seem that proportionally there are more non-whites involved in the reported (TV anyway) crimes of all sorts, especially violent crimes. Does anyone hold the figures to prove or disprove my thoughts, i.e. that a greater percentage of non-whites are involved with crime when compared to whites. And maybe we should now include the white European immigrants too. I do insist this is not meant to be racist.

I have recently experienced a very worrying incident whereby I was falsely accused of an assualt, simply what happend was that I run a small garage and recently had to repair a car belonging to a lady of advancing years. She was unable to bring the car to us so one of my mechanics collected the vehicle from her after she agreed for us to repair the vehicle. Ok this might seem like a stupid question but here goes: I know that section 36 of the VCRA states: I know legit airsofters get a legal defence if they are registered with Ukara but my question is: If someone who had a FAC have any problems buying a RIF? So say if I lived on a farm and had a rifle for hunting, would I still have to register with Ukara or could I just say that I am also an airsofter and would like to buy one? Also the fact it would be stored in the same "secure place" as my rifle when not in use would this have a bearing on being able to buy one? Hope that makes sence Chris
