Is there any laws on on the movement of these vehicles, in relation to the blades, spikes. Than there is speed Of them, Friday morning middle of rush hour, traffic almost at stand still, and there it was a farm vehicle 8 miles around 20mph on a 40 limit.

Does anyone have any experience of trying to claim back forensic costs from convicted defendants in court? I received a report from the lab a few weeks ago stating that the cost of a DNA analysis for a common assault was around £2,000. A prosecutor informed me that they don't routinely try to claim these costs back. It struck me as completely unfair that the taxpayer should pay for these costs just because the offender is too dishonest to admit the offence in interview with the police. Additionally the extra costs of having to pay for the investigation would hopefully serve as a nice addition to the sentence.

Hello all, Just need to know if virtual child pornography(computer generated child porn and not real children) is illegal in the UK and if so under what law and if not what do people think about it. Probably being a bit daft here but I cannot seem to find an answer in my law book. Quick scenario: You walk in to a group of gobby youths who have been up to no good all night. You notice one youth, who has already admitted to being 14, is blowing smoke in your face and has a fag on. You take the cigarette from him and dispose of it as he is too young. You think he has a packet of them in his pocket, but he denies having any. Is there a specific power to search the youth to find the pack of fags. This is an issue i have come across several times when i think i finally have the right answer someone steps in a says it's incorrect. Issue is as follows. A). You have a substantive category B (Cars) driver who is riding a 125cc with a pillion without L Plates. They have never taken a CBT or have a provisional A on their licence. Legal or not - what is the process of dealing with them, driving not within conditions of their licence by not displaying L plates? etc. B). Is it legal to make duplicates of CDs for use at home/in car etc? Did it change in April 2009 to make it illegal?

i recently had a gathering of friends (10 ish) at my house for drinks and a laugh, i had my neighbour banging on my door at quarter to 11 saying that by law we cant make any noise or shell call the police after 11, we had no music on and were quietly talking in the back garden, i live in a terraced house as well btw. what rights do we have etc? what cant we do? Hi, I've recently seen a report on the news and then found the link to the said initiative on the website. http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=6281 How can you be fined £70 for littering when any evidence of the said 'littering' would be gone due to it being eaten before it's even bounced? Can the councils actually do this legally as, to me, it seems they are just making laws up. Also, what does 'littering' actually constitute?

Are we legally allowed break car windows if a dog is inside a car oh a hot day? Im not sure if it comes under animal laws or something.

Hey, just wondering if anyone can help me, was talking to a mate a few days ago about driving without shoes on, and he said that if you had a crash and your found out not to be wearing shoes, then your insurance could not be valid. Is this the case? I've never heard this before and was wondering if anyone knew. Cheers
