So we've all seen it on road wars..... "okay fella you have no insurance so I am seizing your motor, if you want to get your stuff out of it then jog on etc etc" My question, what can you take out of the vehicle? Of course your shopping, your smokes, lose change in the ashtray etc. On one show the chap even took the spare wheel! At what point do you say stop? Could they take the car stereo for example? speakers out of doors? I am guessing as long as the vehicle is drivable it's okay (i.e. you cannot take the steering wheel maybe?) but where does it stop?

D had been ''unlawfully arrested'' because the arresting officer failed to inform her of her arrest when it was practicable to do so. D was taken to a police station where she had assaulted V, the custody officer and G, the detention officer while they were attempting to detain her. She was charged with two counts of assault police. Would this be upheld in court?

After just getting the call to say I've passed the exams & all the hours that passed felt like days....... Now I can't help but think is there anything else that really could get in the way of my dream? I'm sqeaky Clean, but i do know my girlfriends dad in the past had a few bar brawls! Need some advice really. I've searched the net with mixed results, I know somebody thats been driving a Reliant robin on a provisional licence for some 13 years (renewing the licence every year!), driving the car solo everyday for work, One site says legal, another says illegal, One PO says legal another says Illegal..... and so here I am through a search engine looking for the correct answer....hehe. As per title really. What is the 'minimum' that will allow a police officer to search ones car/vehicle ?? What happens if you refuse permission for such a search ??

Here's the scenario: A person is out walking their dogs on a public footpath across a farmers land, these dogs are not on a lead and promptly run off chasing the sheep (for example) in the field. The farmer then comes out and warns the owner to put the dogs on a lead whenever on his land, which they do. The next day the dog owner returns, again with their dogs unrestrained. This time the farmer comes out and shoots the dogs chasing the sheep. So my question is: Is the farmer within his rights to do so? And if so, under which law? Junior's speedometer cable has snapped on his 50cc. I have removed it and are awaiting a new cable to fit it myself as it's very simple to do. My question is, I heard you can fit a simple electronic speedometer, like those on racing bicycles as a temporary measure. Is fitting such a device legal, so you can have an indicated road speed??

Hello, I'm looking for a bit of advice. My neighbour feeds all the local cats, as a result I have about 6 cats from the neighbourhood coming into my garden regularly. I do not have a problem with the cats normally, I have 2 myself and actually quite like it. There is always at least one sitting about any time I leave the house ready for a wee clap . The problem I have is that I recently bought myself a convertible and one of the cats has taken to sleeping on the softtop. In just a couple of months you can already see the divot where he sleeps .
