Hi My ex husband used my son to provoke me into sending him an e-mail criticising the way he had treated him when he last stayed with him & also giving him a few home truths about his conduct. I was so upset for our son. He did this because he was so incensed I had contacted the CSA for maintenance as he had not given us an increase in six years. He & his girfriend were very cruel (mentally) to my son & he was extremely distressed. Hi, please can you tell me the proceedures or laws for dangerous dogs in the uk. We live in a end terrace house with some public land atthe side of it. (we only moved in 4 weeks ago) A man walks his big rottwieler at least 3 times a day on this land. At the back it has a narrow walkway that goes round the back of the houses then leads out onto the land which then goes into a woods which leads back onto a main road. Usually he just (as far as we know) walks through the narrow walkway and through the woods area however this morning he let his dog off the leash and was letting it have a good walk round the land. I just read this thread http://www.ukpoliceonline.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=37126 about cars and it got me thinking. There is a family down the road who have a absolutely immaculate garden. But last year I heard a cat screaming in pain. I stuck my head over there garden hedge and low and hold I seen my next door nabors cat stuck in a snare. I freed the some what angry cat from the snare at quite some pain to my self. I did not think about it at the time but is this person braking the law at all by placing snares in there garden?

why is it when I was given an anti-harrassment warning on a form, there was no-ones name on it ref the alleged complaintent?? and does this count? (incidentally it was my ex we are long term friends and she made me a cup of tea the other day she must of had a few when she made the complaint)

If you put a mistake on the front bit of an FPN/PND then will it automatically void the ticket or will the details on the statement (the bit that is submitted to the court) suffice provided that is all correct? I have noticed that a PND that I wrote out today had an incorrect date on it - for some (brainfart) reason I wrote "2008" rather than "2009". Clearly that's wrong, and all the details in the statement are correct (and I aknowledge the mistake in the statement) and I have 3 supporting statements from witnesses as I expected him to go to court anyway.... Good Afternoon, I believe I’ve been defrauded out of £3800. I believe false representations have been made to me, knowing they were untrue to prevent me receiving the cash for the benefit of the person making those representations. I believe it comes within the Fraud Act 2006. The person who has done this is in a neighbouring police area and I phoned up to make an appointment to go in, make the complaint and show them the documentation to support my case. We hear a lot in the press about the high percentage of people issued PNDs or traffic tickets who simply do not pay up. I personally have never had any experience of summons departments coming to me to ask for evidence against someone so that they can issue summons and bring someone to trial. Is this because I am lucky in having full payment, because this happens all behind my back or because non-payers have their cases just dropped? Anyone have any knowledge or personal experience?

Im not to sure what to make of this. Both myself and some people i know have recieved msn requests from this email: 1nj3ct@fbi.gov I was wondering if anyone here knows who actualy owns this email, and what they use it for as it does not seem like an email the fbi would actualy use. My dad is a self employed driver. A month ago, while working with a passenger on board, was driving through the West End of London and needed to move into the right hand lane. He believed it was safe to do so and committed himself to the manouver. The was a car in the right hand lane but further back, but my dad believes the driver sped up as he pulled in and both cars ended up hitting each other. Contact was minor with no damage to the rear of my fathers vehicle but I am unsure of the damage to the front of the other car involved. Here is one for you to ponder… Is it legally allowed for police or door staff to confiscate an ID that is being used to buy or enter premises under age? I know we do it, but are we entitled to? Especially if it is a passport belonging to an older sibling that has not been stolen, but lent to the person. (So no theft has been committed) I'm sure there is a power for police somewhere...I'm more curious about Door Staff/Off licence owners that hand then to us when we pass...answers on a postcard please.

Hey folks, I'm hoping that a serving officer or someone with knowledge of the system might be able to help me out here. I was caught speeding back in July 14th I got the letter on the 22nd. I replied to the note with my details (yes I was speeding at the time). Now I have recently moved house and only went back to my old house today for the mail. In the mail was a letter dated 14th Aug with a conditional offer. A question for those in the know. After a discussion about the X Factor, a mate who wishes to become a special constable, says to you i do not like a certain constant because of the colour of his skin. What in your thoughts is the best way to proceed? A) Do nothing? after all he is a mate. B) Have a chat to the local Police? If so who would one wish to speak to? I bet this is covered in an ealier threat, but I can't find it..... But, what are the major differences for officers North of the border? What's this about not being ble to arrest on suspicion? And is there a 'drunken stupidity' offence, is that true? Just curious........! :-)
