I'm looking to start Airsoft but I'm curious to the legality around moving equipment... I know you have registered with a site and over 18 in order to purchase imitation firearms with realistic colouring. 1 My question is around moving it, regardless of being registered I'm going to assume (over exaggerated example) you can't drive along with a stack of imitation firearms on your backseat. 2 Secondly, are you legally allowed to own the imitation firearms (with realistic colouring) if you leave your club/stop actively "playing"?... 3 Any rules regarding storing them at home? Lets say a civilian or off duty officer (person A) is walking down the street, and someone is out looking for a fight (person B), so decides to try to attack person A. Person A can handle themselves, so punches and kicks person B in self defence, leaving them with a bloody nose and some scrapes. Person A carries on their way, and goes home. Do police officers have a general exemption from wearing seatbelts in police vehicles? It's a debate I've been having with other officers on my team...some seem to think that the answer is "no" some think that the exemption only applies when running to I calls or transporting prisoners, others think that there is a general exemption. The law says: I suppose the question is what constitutes "police purposes"...... Any have any idea? I would imagine any vehicle being used by a police officer on duty, for the purposes of his duty, would count. NB. I understand policy says to wear a seatbelt - which is seperate from law.

Has anyone ever caught anybody mid - act in a car or bushes? Hi All, Just pondering clarification on something that came up the other day, Common Assault involving a woman striking another. Now the reason I am wondering on clarification is that although the assault was complete the striker claimed it wasn't assault because she had struck the umbrella the victim was holding, not her head. It got me thinking - for the battery (unlawful touching) to take place, obviously this extends to clothing (i.e. contact does not have to be skin to skin) but does it extend to things you are carrying (ignore crim dam for now)? I'm a little unsure of how to proceed on this so I thought I would ask on here. I live in a one way street. Currently the car parked opposite my house is facing the wrong way which means the obviously drove the wrong way down the road. Now this has happened before and I'm in one of my MR ANGRY moods so who should I report this to? Council - illegal parking??? Met Pol's non-urgent number but is it a crime to park facing the wrong way? Obviously driving down the road the wrong way is but would they need to be caught in the act? Help...

A while ago I was thinking about leaving my university course (Computer Science) to pursue an exciting career. Before university I was a rather Introvert person, some might say a geek . So naturally Computing would suit me, but then again you go to university to find who you really are, and I am anything but that anymore (well maybe a little bit COD:MW2!!). Just wondering if anyone is able to help me about parking on the pavement. Where I live we get a few people parking on the pavement, often blocking the pavement for people in wheelchairs or pushchairs, I often have to walk down the middle of the road with my brother in his wheelchair as cars are parked on the pavement on both sides of the road. Is there anything that can be done? Is it against the law at all? Thanks :D
