What laws allow the Queen to drive without a driving licence and to not have a number plate on her official car?

Time to pick a few brains and experience on a personal matter but one that crops up around the web on various non Police forums. I have a garage with drop down drive at the rear of my house. Despite ample unallocated parking for the blocks of apartments opposite, one of the tenants insists on parking directly opposite my garage on the narrow street. This makes exiting the garage extremely difficult and despite being a very competent driver its hard to miss his car or any car that parks there as the turning circle is minimal. Recently on my journey from Scotland to Wales and back I went through a lot of road work restrictions. In these restrictions there are average speed cameras working 50mph limits now of course I followed the restriction, but when I was sitting at 50 lorries and cars where zipping past me. How is this?

Hi guys, I recently had someone, who claims to be a Metropolitan Police Cadet, say to me that he is authorised to carry and use all PPE (ASP, CS, and Handcuffs). Obviously this sounds false, and as I'm no expert I'd like some help from the more knowledgable amongst us. Goodmorning all, I need to know whether I can summons a driver for parking on yellow zig zags outside a school and what the offence is. I have a PCSO college who was very aggressily told to go forth and that there was nothing she could do about this, when the PCSO politly asked the drive to move his vehicle. I was going to stick him on for a public order offence but the PCSO can not remember exactly what her said to her. I'm going to see the driver Thursday and if he is equilly impolite to me I shall give him his NIP if I can find a solid reason to stick him on. All advice welcome Thanks Matt

Its all over the news and the talk of the nicks that as everywhere else except the NHS the police budget is to be cut in the next financial year by I think but don't quote me of 2.99% in 2010-2011 if Labour remain in office and goodness knows what if there is a change of government. However as I understand it all departments are having to have cuts in my force other than neighbourhood policing. So where do people think the cuts should be made.What would you do if you were in charge of the budgets?

Hey Guys Just a quick question in regards to the use of the Section 27. I am a Southampton season ticket holder and go to quite a few away games. On Saturday we went to Millwall away and as expected the large group of fans were escorted back to Waterloo to go home to Southampton after the game. I'm having difficulty understanding the difference between offensive weapons and bladed articles when it comes to knives etc. Obviously daggers, butterfly knifes, flick knives, swords etc would be offensive weapons as they were made for no other reason but as a weapon. An items such as a folding knife and lock knife (under 3") would be a bladed article. Now, where would an item such as a kitchen knife fit in? It could be an 'intended' offensive weapon, or could be a bladed article (as it was made for another purpose). Public order offences aside, what would you lock someone up for should you find an offender in possession of a kitchen knife? Thanks in advance..
