When I was in Avsompol attached to orders used to be a sheet showing the months lighting up times, which was 30 minutes after sunset. I have trawled the internet and the intranet for this but cannot find it. Anyone know if this is still used?

I was just thinking about the wording of the caution. Clearly it's written to inform a suspect about the ability of the Crown to use what they say in proceedings for which they are a defendant. However can a suspect interview be used in their favour? Say, for example, you have two suspects, who have committed crimes against each other. If suspect A says something in his interview under caution that implicates suspect B, can the record of A's interview under caution be used in evidence in a trial against B? The reason I'm wondering is that you couldn't just take a statement from A (to use against B) as you suspect him of involvement in an offence and can only ask him …

If someone in a shop is caught removing security tags from products, would that count as attempted theft? Or is there some other relevant offence? Is it something shop staff can arrest for until the police can attend or would they only be able to make them leave the shop?

Hello all, Hopefully this is in the right part of the forum. If a person is disqualified from driving presumably they are required to give up their (physical) licence, at what point in the process does this happen? I presume they are only actualy disqualified at the point the court says so and so will hold a licence up until then during the wait for their case to be heard. If for whatever reason someone is searched (or any other reason you might know they have their licence with them) but are not actualy driving a vehicle or anything like that, but they come back on PNC as being disqualified so probably shouldnt have the licence any more, what offences are they commit…

A driver with his/her licence has 9 points, and commits an offence such as using mobile phone, zig zags etc. They get an EFPN and surrender their licence as normal. Do the DVLA just keep the licence or what? Ive heard of people driving with 12 pts and still having a licence. What happens and how does this work? Also, what do you do to a car parked on zig-zags when the driver isnt with it? Do you just put a NEFPN on the window for obstruction, seeing as you cant wait all day for the driver to come back. Finally, are the yellow zig-zag lines outside a school enforcable 24/7 like the white ones on a crossing?

Am I loosing the plot early or is there actually an offence of parking either on or too close to a junction. Hello again all, In recent weeks ive been able to get myself out on foot quite a bit. If a person moves an item of stock from the warehouse in which the item usually resides... Is it theft?even though the owner hasn't been permanently deprived of it.? When i started we completed a stop form, one copy to the person stopped and one for us. We have now moved to a much longer one that is very convenient if you carry a clip board with you, or perhapse if you happen to have a large desk, which you could use to sit behind when designing stop forms. I have colleagues now who give out recipts, the unique number they get from coms. This goes along with the full stop form, so they have a recipt for the recipt that they get anyway. we also have training comming to allow us to txt a stop form to comms, who will then send us a unique number which we then give to the person stopped. Hi folks, hope you can help me. Earlier this year I atteneded a large military vehcile event, and quite frankly, the toilets were a complete disgrace. The toilets were part of a debate on a military vehcile website which I am a member of. I wrote a letter of complaint to the organiser of the event and recieved a reply.
