You are walking to the supermarket for a pint of milk on a Sunday afternoon with your missus. The sun is shining and you plan a little potter round the park afterwards before you head home for tea and sandwiches. Popular local pub with the same regular punters day in day out, busy busy busy and busy still when it comes to kicking out time, mr and mrs landlord close the doors but invite a few friends/punters to stay behind. Doors are locked, but the drinks are still being sold, and, they allow everybody to start smoking. When advised this is illegal, mrs landlady says "No it isnt, we're closed, I live here, the pub is now my living room and I decide who to invite into my home and who can drink and smoke. Here's a scenario. What would you do if every time you turned up to a certain shift, some of the regulars ignore you completely, or are verbally abusive without provocation? Would you change or reduce your shifts, confide in others that you have a problem, just ignore, volunteer elsewhere or confront these individuals?

Hi all, just wonder if any of you know the answer to this. If I say to X I will lend you my car, but only on the condition that you use it for delivering goods for your business and X subsequebtly uses the vehicle for personal use, could the person using the vehicle be committing TWOC as the use of the vehicle is outside of the use stipulated by the owner? Wasnt sure if TWOC could be based on breaching conditions stipulated by the owner/keeper. Any suggestions, or anyone know of any stated cases that I could look through. As we all enjoy a ludicrous scenario once in a while... A MoP is in a park which has by-laws banning walking on the grass, standing in the middle of the field. A police officer wanders up and nicks him. Another officer, seeing this officer walking on the grass walks over and arrests the first officer. On seeing this, officer three strolls up and places officer two under arrest for walking on the grass... What happens when they arrive in custody?

Whilst out with the kids yesterday we toddled off on one of our outings and ended up in a big town and whilst walking down the high street there were flats with balconys above the shops. So all of a sudden one of my daughters sees a completely naked man at the front of one of the balconys walking around and staring up and down the street. Taken aback we just giggled and the man was there for a good while and others started to notice him also. Question is has he commited any offences for this little show to the world or has he done nothing wrong?

Right, about a month ago, 5 of my friends, and me im 14. We all threw some conkers into an open garage thinking it would be a laugh, yet to get an ''OI'' and a chase after, they found out all our names, and reported us to the police, one of my mates has been interviewed already and has told me the low down. 3 counts of criminal damage because the conkers hit 3 cars. Apparently there's 5 dents. Which will cost up to £600 to repair (but I don't think this can be right at all as we only threw one each) He got a 3 month probational order where he cant hang round with any of us out of school hours. Well, leaving out all details, I had cause to rack my asp with a fail to stop car (stationay in a corner), where the driver looked like he was going to be really griefy.... Luckily, this show of force along with shouting and another officer forcefully removing him from the drivers seat lead to a result with loads of offences... As I had my asp racked, i didn't think about this once, but later I was chatting about putting in the windscreen. what could the justification be for smashing up the drivers side of the screen? I'm guessing to hinder any attempt of any taking off at high speed? Any thoughts welcome. Cheers, Chopper.

Your walking along on duty in uniform when suddenly a lit ciggarette butt hits you. It has obviously been thrown from a window above you but when you look up you dont see anyone. The lady in my local off licence asked my advice about a situation which occured a few days ago in her shop. A mop entered her shop and asked to use her private toilet. She said, no they don't have one (even though they did) at which point he said he was a police officer and produced a warrant card. Seeing this, the lady agreed and allowed him in. You are on foot patrol at night when you come across a male carrying a number of aluminium chairs, looking out of place you cross to have a chat. On chatting with the male he tells you he doesnt rememeber where he got them from and that they are only rubbish. You inspect the chairs and find they are all damaged and no longer able to be sat on but still wish to know where they have come from. You fill in your stop and account form and check details on PNC and get a marker for this male to carry weapons and asking him once more to tell you where they came from so he tells you a skip. Barry is a landlord, but he is paranoid. He rents out a bedroom in a house to a young lady and has a secret camera installed because he is scared that she'll damage his antique wallpaper. There is no toilet or bathroom in the bedroom. Because the young lady in question is not married nothing of a sexual nature takes place in the bedroom. HI All, first of I must point out that I'm an MOP and not a serving special or officer, So here goes... You're off duty at your normal day job and a customer comes in and smells heavily of cannabis and their pupils are dilated. Your manager is serving the customer but tries to keep a decent distance away due to the power of the smell. Do you do anything or do you just let it go?? You are one of three off duty officers leaving a nightclub after an excellent night out in a town which you do not know and have never been to before.
