New Member Introductions

Right then, I'm 18 from Liverpool, just finished 6th form and wanting to join the Cheshire Constabulary. I attended a recruitment seminar on Saturday where I was told about the job and application process etc. and also recieved my application form To be honest I was shocked by how vigorous and tough the application process sounded but I'm still determined to join the police force whatever it takes. I just hope I can get in 1st time around because I don't fancy waiting the 6 months to try again and there seems to be alot of people who get turned down 1st time for whatever reason. Which makes me think how likely am i to actually succeed :S Well thats me anyways, any adv…

Hi I'm a mummy of one lil devil and hoping that lack in my work experience wouldn't be a big problem. Hi all!!!, I'm new to the forum so thought I'd just introduce myself. Well I'm 28, from Glasgow, and I'm currently working as a nurse for the NHS; I've recently applied for Strathclyde Police , and I'm now just waiting to get my date for the SET and fitness test, which fingers-crossed will be soon!!!!! I've been looking on your forum for weeks now and think it's absolutely fantastic.......not only is it providing me with a wealth of really useful information, but the banters hilarious, I've got tears in my eyes at times...........glad to see it's not all serious business talk all the time !!!!!
