Hi chaps, Looking for a place to hang out and get heads up as I am halfway through the recruitment process for Surrey as a Police Support Officer (not a PCSO but it does confuse me why they have two seperate job specs etc). I am ex Army and inbetween my two stints in the army was a paramedic for tooooo many years being a taxi driver for drunks (has its moments however). No longer a youngster (37) I thought I would pop in and gain as much info as possible as I don't like being poorly prepared - prior planning prevents p155 poor performance! Passed the interview and have the PT test soon, waiting for vetting but was SC in the army so shouldn't be that much of a problem …

Well, what can I say about these fantastic LED torches? Let me start by saying that I won one in the competition I entered by email so a big thank you goes out for letting us have the opportunity! THANKS!!!! I was going to use the torch to find my bike in the garage on the long, cold winter nights up here in Northumberland, but since Tuesday night when i was involved in an RTA on my Honda Fireblade, I shall have no problem locating my bike as it is not going anywhere for quite a while!!!! However, my new torch enabled me to return to the scene of the accident and collect several useful and odd shaped bits of my blade from the road, kerbside and grass verge. How usefu…

Hello. I joined the Forum today to get some answers to my questions. My names Tom, I'm 16 years old (17 in April); and currently doing a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners (Level 3). I've wanted to be a Police Constable ever since i was "wee" high. It's never grown out of me and it gets more intense for me every year! After seeing how kind and great the people are here, i think I'll pitch up my tent and visit regularly. Hehe. Thanks, Tom.
