Hi guys ive applied for SC vetting clearance for a scottish post, when i log in the status now says its "completed", does this mean i have passed the vetting, or does it just mean thats the vetting finished and the mdp recruitment team give me the result?

I'm traveling down today ready for my fitness tests tomorrow (after I've watched Liverpool beat Utd) from Wigan, I'm estimating I'll be there around 6pm. Now I'm not expecting an entertainment complex or anything like that but once I'm on site is there places to go whilst there? Such as a bar? Or is there TV's in the rooms? (That last one may we'll be too far stretched! Lol)

Hello folks, I'm a serving police constable in a Home Office force in England but started out in the BTP in Scotland so did my initial training at Tulliallan. Evening all. Quick question really. Who/ where is your force Armourer based? Does each major unit have it's own armourer or is it central? For the purpose of this question I'm referring to the Armourer as the guy who fixes it when you break it. Not the arms store an who issues it daily.

I'm due to have my medical in April this year, i'm 6"2' and weigh in at 18.5 stone. I'm big on my gym training (mainly weights) but do have a good levek of aerobic fitness. I've noticed on the medical that I need a BMI of 30 or under, I can tell you right now I'll be over 30 even though if you looked at me you wouldnt say I was obese (which the BMI scale would). I had a right battle with the medical to join GMP Specials with this and I'm concerned I'll walk straight into another battle here. Has anyone on here had the same issue or know of someone that has?

Hello All I transferred my SEARCH score to MDP and have been invited to a Day 1 Assessment. Can anyone advise what the firearms / dexterity tests will involve if possible. Also, what would you recommend to wear during the day, I was thinking suit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks !!
