Hi all, I have an interview to transfer to Surrey next week, I have been reading up on the Surrey Police values as that's what the interview is based on, anyone have any idea what type of things you are asked at the interview?

Hi guys, You probably get this a lot, but google has confused me a bit further as the test varies from force to force. Just applied the other week for the Specials, and recieved an acknowledgement email. Attached to this was a fitness test booklet, the endurance test is 4 shuttles at level 5 on the bleep test. Well having never done a bleep test before, what can I expect? Also, what can I do beforehand to test whether I can pass it? From what I've read that test will be about 600M in 3.5minutes? If I were to run 600m in under that time would that represent I'm able to pass the test? Or does it not work like that? Thanks for the help, i'm not a paticularly 'active' per…

Anyone going in for the interviews 20/09 - 26/09?

Hi there, I have just been invited onto the above assessment day at Mount Browne and have a couple of questions. - What style of questions are they asking in a values based interview - I know that no one can discuss the actual questions but for example do they ask you to prove where you have used the values in the past and how you will use them if you get the job? -is it true that if you fail this interview you cannot apply to Surrey Police again EVER? - Am I right to be nervous about how tough they'll be or is it quite straightforward and simple to get through?

I'm not one of your specials, but thought I'd seize this opportunity to promote our youth centres as I'm a member of a site visited by a lot of your officers. North Surrey youth centres are up and running 5 nights a week . Apologies for creating a thread that's probably been answered as a general topic but was searching for a more up to date and specific answer. I am due to start my training to be a Special next month and am wondering if anyone knows a rough guide of what happens when? When is uniform issued? Thanks in advance
