    Transferring To Surrey 1 2 3 4 5

    Hi everyone. Been ages since I posted here...about 2 years I think! Does anyone have anymore insight into the interview for transferring to Surrey? I have my interview in early October and would like to prepare appropriately. I have already spoken with a few friends already in Surrey but unfortunately none had transferred in. I have also met up with the local PC to ask questions, compare and find out more about surrey's policies, procedures and priorities. Any help appreciated!

    Hello all, I am looking to transfer to Surrey Police and have a number of questions. If anyone can answer some or all of them it would be a great help! If anyone has recently transferred any general comments or advice surrounding the process would be appreciated. Thanks... Is overtime easy to come by? Is this usually staying on to help the next shift or can extra days be requested etc... How soon after starting would a response driving course be given? Are these easy to get or is there a long waiting list? Do police stations have parking for personal cars? What is the shift pattern like, is it the usual 6 on 4 off? Thanks for any replies, …

    Hi all. I will be starting with Surrey in early January 2018. I'm new to the area and am currently looking for a house or flat share. I'm looking at options in the area but would obviously prefer to share with someone already in the job or who is also starting.     Hi All, I am looking into the prospect of transferring to either TVP or Surrey and wanted to see if any current PC's for Surrey could chip in and advise. I have had a lot of dealings with Surrey Pol (mostly positive) and I understand all transferee's go directly onto Response. Few questions, 1. Do response deal with there own crimes, is there a prisoner handling team? 2. What is current situ with training courses? Is getting a response driving ticket hard work? 3. What's the overtime situ? I understand a lot of rural forces struggle with officer numbers etc.. 4. And finally, what's the tattoo policy? I have a full sleeve on my arm.. Any…

    Hi all, Has anyone else applied to Surrey for PC? Haven't found many online who have despite them having 3 recruitment drives in the past year. I finished the process, except possibly vetting, middle July and am just waiting. I applied Dec 2015. Anyone else?

    Hello, I applied for Surrey Police back in March 16 and was told that the intakes will be between Jan 17 and Jun 17. I have completed everything they have asked from me including the CKP. They have informed me that they cannot give any more information regarding the intakes. My last correspondence with them was 12 Dec 16. With the intake opening dates approaching, just curious to see how other applicants are getting on with their application process and if anybody has received any formal offer also does the formal offer arrive via the Post or Email?
