Hey I am well aware Northumbria Specials are not put on Blue light courses or very rare at least. But if you already had a Blue light ticket with another firm, Could you then drive Nor pols vehicles on Blue lights?. After an assesment of course. Any info is appreciated.

Hi all, I'm in the recruitment process with Northumbria Police at the moment. I just want to get a sense, from serving specials in NorPol what it is like. Just specifics really such as can we work 24/7 shifts? I know of one area command where specials are allowed to go on response jobs, is there only one? How are specials treat in terms of regular collegues, are specials treat as equals and get treat as part of the team or do you often feel like a spare part? I am not asking for anybody to berate the force here I simply am after some general advice and comments from serving specials as I shoud soon be one fo them Thanks. :new_yummy:
