Hi everyone, I recently learned that I had passed the SEARCH Assessment Centre but had not attained the 60% that was required of the force I was applying for. When I got my full feedback I learned that I had achieved an overall of 51% with 93% in oral communication, 89% in written communication and 67% in working with others. I did not recieve an automatic fail and most of my "grades" were A's and B's. I have no idea where I went wrong and was wondering if any of you had any advice for my future applications (as this is all I've ever wanted to do!) Hi all, I've got my uniform fitting on Monday and was just hoping that someone could DM me specific directions to the stores once you turn off the main road i.e. which road to take and how I recognise the building... I asked for directions on the phone but I was lost almost straight away when the guy started cheers

Evening all, I've got my assessment centre for the regs coming up next week; I've been so busy with work and cramming in revision I completely forgot about posting in here! I'm just after some general revision tips really, or perhaps anyone who has recently been though an assessment centre could provide some useful tips (tips only I know, nothing too in depth!) In particular, I've noticed that the competencies assessed on my application form are the exact same ones I have in my structured interview - are they looking for totally new examples or a more in depth answer of the ones on my original application form? hey was just wondering if there was any chance of us being issued with a radio. i notice that when we transmit using pool our numbers are not shown up on other handsets and we never receive the texts with job info on. Anyone been issued them or know hwo to go about this?
