Passed the application stage and have now made an appointment for a Pulse Event. I was wondering if this is the same as a SEARCH Assessment Centre? Thank you.

So yesterday I had a 2hour session with Northumbria Police to see more about the job and chats from senior officers, training officers and HR. We then had to have an interview with Northumbria Police to see who would progress to the next stage which is the assessment centre - I got through the interview and thought I had done a poor job of it, so when I got called back for the outcome I was preparing for the worst but got told I done a brilliant interview, scored top marks and was being put forward for the assessment centre. I am over the moon and now need to start preparing for the assessment centre. Any tips on how best to get ready for this? Thanks in advance Jonp…

Hi I have been invited to a briefing and 20 mins Pulse interview. Does anyone have any advice or experienced this before. This is with Northumbria police after application and before assessment centre. Appreciated

I have just received email confirmation that I will be on the search course on the 20th October at the Britannia hotel at the airport, I was wondering if anyone else here had been given that date? Mine is at 11am.

Hi everyone I am about to submit my application form for the new intake at Northumbria. the process has changed since i last applied (58% at SEARCH) and wondered if anyone had passed the application form stage and had their pulse interview? i am hoping it follows the same sort of questions as last time but i know you do not hear the outcome of that until all interviews have been sat. there is plans for an assessment centre w/c 17th October so hoping the turn round time for results and harassment centre date isn't too long as if successful would need to put holidays in at work.
