Hi, Can anyone tell me, apart form our supervision, which mailbox we are now having to send our shifts to in order for them to appear on RMS? I have been away for a while and things must have changed, and I cannot seem to find any source of info on who to contact. Thanks

Hi Guys, I failed the interview for SC, I'm usually a confident person but when I entered the room, all my confidence just disappeared, I answered the questions as well as I could and done my research about the force etc but I guess it wasn't my time. Can't describe how I feel at the minute apart from annoyed and really frustrated at needing to wait another 6 months. The nerves got the better of me this time. Thanks for all the help, I really do appreciate it - a select few know who they are too!

Hi, was wondering if anyone else is meant to be on the April training? I passed my interview at the start of February and I've sent my medical form off completed vetting forms and had my fingerprints and Dna taken. So just wondering what's happening next as well? And timescales?

Evening all, I apologise in advance for what I'm sure will be a common question however I thought I'd ask just to be on the safe side! I've got my interview for the Specials next week and although I know I should keep calm, I find it's constantly on my mind, even at work! Within the invite to interview email, they've stated I will be asked to provide examples of when I have used my communication, problem solving and resilience skills (following the STAR criteria). Does anyone know if these are the only competencies I will be asked? Hello! I've been reading through all of the new posts but have yet to come across someone else who is due for Septembers SC intake.. Anyone out there? I've passed most stages, just waiting to hear back from vetting and have my medical booked for next week. All being well I should be in the September intake - so exciting!

Evening all-- I've currently passed all of my pre-employment checks for NorPol regs; I'm just waiting for a new training date to be announced as the one that was due to start August last year was called off. I was just wondering if anybody else has had their application 'paused' until they commence recruitment again or if anybody is in the same boat as me? Thanks

Good Morning! After a 12 week wait, I have finally received an email yesterday to advise that I have been successful at the short list stage of my Special Constable application. They will be in contact soon to arrange an interview time / date. It's starting to feel real now! Time to put the work in :christmas_laugh: As much as I've had advice reading other threads, any further advice in regards to the interview (of which you are able to share) would be greatly appreciated! Hope everyone is well leading up to Christmas! Marc

Hi guys! I was just wondering if there was anyone else applying for the Special Constable role within NorPol? If I remember rightly, the closing date is 30th Sept. It has to be said, that the one thing I hate more than filling out applications themselves, are competency questions! I've spent a good 3 hours total answering the first competency question from this application, ensuring that I include what I need to include using the STAR approach.
