Can anyone help. I attest Saturday. How do you attach epaulettes ? Is it just the two tabs on each epaulette or do you attach the split pin from the metal button to the shirt button? Seems a bit baggy with just the two tabs. Thanks in advance.

I know you need to attend the course, which I haven't seen run for a while, but do you get issued it at the end of the course or does it rock up many months later?

Are they still run? And what do they comprise of nowadays for the MSC?

anyone know if you can be a special in the met but apply to a county force but if you were unsuccessful in the paper sift stage and then the met opens up sc-pc could you then apply, or because you've applied to a police force within 6 months you wouldnt be allowed to apply for the internal sc-pc. I know if you fail the day 1 you cant take it again for 6 months but does this rule apply to not passing the papersift? or whilst in the recruitment process of a county force the met opens up sc-pc, could you apply?

Is there anyone here that lives in the borough of southwark or surrounding area with a spare room to rent short term? Had a massive problem tonight with a hostile house mate and wondered if anyone could put me up during the last 6 weeks of my London Fire Brigade training. PS the massive problem was my house mate being a generally filthy slob who thought an appropriate response to being asked to tidy his stuff up was to threaten to put my head through a wall!

Im training for the Met Specials at the moment and have just heard back for PCSO recruitment about having a day1, will i have to do vetting and references again as i have only recently done them? Thanks

Just had an email from my MSC manager to say we cannot claim expenses whilst on AID because we have operational feeding. If I was to decline the food would I be able to claim the expenses?

Any idea would could come up in prospective interviews for the role?

Hello, I apologise in advance as I know there are borough pages but for Islington there is very little so I thought there may be more of a response if I started a new topic. Are there any people on here based in the borough who could tell me more about working there? At the moment it is my first choice and I have just passed my Day 1 so would like to get a good understanding. Any bits of info regarding what stations specials are based, training and different roles would be great. Thanks.

Afternoon Everyone. This isn't a moan about uniform services. I understand alot of people have had ongoing problems getting their kit etc. I received an email stating i would need to wear a yellow Jeltex jacket,problem is ive never been issued with one. I didnt even know that it was on the uniform list. Ive tried MSC management but can't get through.
