Hello everyone, Just looking for some advice. Last year I passed my final interview to join the Police and just awaiting a start date pending fitness, medical and vetting. I have an interview for a Fast Track Detective Scheme in which I recently attended a familirisation event. In the email I received from HR, it states that the interview will be around the Policing Professional Framework Personal Qualities (PPF). However, when clicking the skills for justice link it presents you, it takes you to the College of Policing website. Greetings, it's been a while since any posts and I've posted; To start it simply, has or is anyone applying or thinking of applying for the 2018 year? I'm aware the last application stage began November 2017, is anyone in for the January assessment centres? Any other news, many new recruits or specials around?

Hello, is anyone starting training for Humberside on 27th march, I've been told my training start day is 27th June but I'll be starting 27th march. How does this work, will I be shadowing someone m. Just wondering who (if anyone) has thrown their hat in the ring and applied to be a PC with Humberside during the recent 3 day recruitment window for external candidates? It's been almost 8 years since PC recruitment was opened to external candidates so I'd imagine there's a few of you! I may be able to answer some general questions about the job or provide non-specific advice on the process.
