Does anyone know any of the byelaws in Southampton or the surrounding areas. I've tried to find them on the internet but the best I've got it this: http://www.southampton.gov.uk/Images/Child%20employment%20byelaws%202010_tcm46-270054.pdf http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/pinfo/sblaws.htm But they relate to very specific things- child employment and the dock area.

So.. Cancel your leave guys for the 13/14th feb. South coast derby day. Has anyone policed these before? I take it there is a lot invovled

Do any kind people here know of the offence codes we use when giving out tickets? I know it is EC1 for exceeding a 20MPH, and EC2 for a 30MPH. Any others?

The force have agreed this can be used to utilize internal communication as no one from outside the Hants Pol can see the content. There are loads of members already on there and it seems to be used quite regularly.

Hey Hampshire Constabulary Forum! Got a question, I'm just wondering how many weeks before the actual thing does Hampshire send you information on the A/C? I've been told that I'm currently awaiting being placed onto an Assessment process which is likely to be happening at the beginning of February 2012. I've also been told that I will receive an email inviting me to this, I'm guessing this contains vetting forms, medical forms etc? Many thanks for any information! EDIT: Grammar ^^

I was at a traffic garage today when the call came across the radio. Thoughts to the officer involved, and I wish him a speedy recovery. A motorcyclist is seriously ill in hospital after a crash on a Hampshire road. Police closed the A32 Wickham Road around its junction with the M27 near Fareham following the collision at around 1.40pm. The motorcyclist was involved in an incident with a green Citroen C5 estate car, and has been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to what police describe as “serious injuriesâ€. The Citroen driver has been arrested in connection with the crash, which happened near the junction with Pook Lane.

Evening Folks, This may only be relevant to Hampshire, not quite sure! I collected my uniform recently, but before collecting it i was told i wouldn't receive any white shirts because they were being "faised" out, however, the stores gave me two white shirts. At Netley today, all those in uniform seemed to be wearing the black t-shirts. Could anyone confirm what the dress is and when/if we need to wear the white t-shirts? (Whilst im at it, does anyone know if we get an allowance for boots?) Thanks!

Hi All I received confirmation of passing the 1st stage of assessment process, interview, SJT and written exam, I have been given a date for fitness on the 8th of November 2011 and was just wondering do I find out on the day whether I have passed or not? and what other processes after this is there please? Just so I have an idea as what to come. Thank you.
