Hi everyone Just wondering who else is on the NDMM course on the 24th september, also i got an email saying to wear active wear ie gym kit, what actually happens on this and can anyone be specific on what we have to wear? Cheers

Hi All, I receieved an email with the verification of the course dates and it seems that there is no ASP training before the end of the year, has anyone else had this problem? also i asked if i could do BLS early because (apparently) everyone got invited but i checked me emails and i never got an invite, i emailed them and said that i never revieved an email inviting me early but they was just like oh well sorry so just wondering if any of you got invites?

Hey guys as the title suggest this post refers to the pre employment cd that i received after my fitness test. The CD consists of 10 pre join modules you have to read through and complete a competency check, and i was just wondering if anyone knew how they were marked? do you have to get 100%? And once completing them do you still have to get all your forms back in before anything else happens? Many thanks Sam

Afternoon, I have a issue/Worry with my flat cap, whilst at my uniform fitting everything thing went well apart from my monkey arms but we found a jacket in the end, custodian fits well sorted my straps out i think (does the thin peleathery strap go inside or around the back of it ???), when it came to finding a flatcap the sizing issues started there, my cap is a 58 & 7 1/4, the 57 didn't fit at all and the 59 swamped me yet my custodian fits like a dream at a 59, the QM said "those are the only sizes we do so your have to have it", the problem is that i can get it on my head but i have to push it down a little but then the top of it is no longer completely flat the…

Hey everyone, So I got my uniform today and tried it all on etc etc and when I went to put the custodian on, there were just 3 straps dangling in my face... I try to put them above my head inside the hat to hide them but they just become painful. Is there anyway to remove them without getting the snips out?

Just a quick one folks, My body armour comes just below my belly button by about 1/2" to 1" is this where it should it come to ?? think doesn't feel quite right but im not sure if it is because i'm used to full kevlar body plates and think is the soft armour and doesn't come down as fair, The QM said it should be below your belly button but it just doesn't feel right its a 3Xl size and it just seems abit short Any advice or help ?

I have been informed that as a special constable you dont have to pay council tax if you are based in southampton, can any clarify if this is true, also im being based in eastleigh, would i get mine payed for?
