Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get to Hampshire hq without a car? I'm coming from Portsmouth, so didn't know if the best way would be train, bus, taxi? Any help would be great, Thanks

POLICING in Hampshire has a new headquarters after a deal was done to buy a new base. Hampshire Constabulary has finalised negotiations with Hampshire County Council to purchase Mottisfont Court, in Winchester, as its new headquarters. The purchase of Mottisfont Court, for £1.5m, was completed yesterday, following exchange of contracts on Friday, November 9. The purchase is the first significant acquisition of the force’s Estate Development Programme (EDP), which aims to provide modern and appropriate facilities to fit the current and future policing needs, while providing the best possible service to the public and achieving value for money. The refurbishment of Mott…

Hey I passed my fitness test and received the pre-employment disc with the modules and a load of forms to fill in. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long it takes to get an invite to Induction A after you've sent all the forms off etc? And also what the Induction A entails? Sorry for all the questions I'm very intrigued at this point! Thanks!

So, this is probably more impatient than anything as they will probably answer this at Induction B but... Does booking onto FT work like Gateway workshops now do, as in you get a list of when they are on and you can book on, as opposed to set weekends? Only thing being is that I work Saturday mornings and wanted to clear this up :new_hmmm:

So after months and months of hard work and dedication I have once more failed vetting for the final time. I was told I am not able to appeal and the reasons will not be disclosed. I am honestly heart broken, I've worked my day job around this so I could have time off training etc all for nothing. Just want to say thanks to everyone I've met on here and the best of luck to those of you who are training or currently serving. Take care.

Apologies if this seems like a bit of a bone question, on my original app form I put down that I was applying for Kingston crescent as it is about a 5 min drive from me (I'm in Copnor), however, I'm in the process of selling up and moving to just up at the top of ports down hill. Will I be asked again which station I would ideally like or will they just look at what's on my form? Its not a huge problem but it would be nice, if push comes to shove though I can just go wherever. Also, will I be asked when I'd like to do my hours or are we told when? cheers! :new_thanks:

Seen the chiefs message today Black body armor is coming back! He admits the high vis has it's benefits with cycle patrols but all replacements will now be black. Im happy but i would rather be issued with a new black cover now and prolong the life of the high vis one for cycle or HVP patrols. Dan
