My names Ajay and I undertook my assessments day on the 10th of July 1pm and have just heard back that I Passed with flying colours this time!!! 54% last time Grr. Now currently waiting for my fitness test on the 20th of august! Can’t wait. So did anyone else happen to get their results back yet and will be joining me for a gentle jog on the 20th ? Hi, I'm going to apply for the specials when recruitment starts later in the year, Does anyone know if its possible for me to go out on a patrol with some officers to see how it all works? I was going to apply a few years back, I spoke to a woman officer at Gosport station and she said that it may be possible. cheers.

Morning all, With the new driving standards now up and running I wanted to raise the question regarding specials driving, as it used to stand after gaining indpt status as long as your DO put you forward for it you could get your A to B ticket and then move on to compliant stop. Now with the new standards that bring hants up to TVP standards LLR has gone and as specials we weren't aloud to response drive, but with the new driving standards there is A to B and then the standard course which includes both compliant stop and Response my question is will specials be put through the standard ticket so they can still do complaint stops with a view to being able to do G1 runs …

The Chief has just said on twitter that he would welcome ideas from inside and outside the police family on what we can stop doing and do differently with the up coming spending review. Interested to see ideas from specials on how you feel Hampshire could save money. I think that by increasing opportunities for independent specials by offering courses like L1 public order and more driving courses then the retention would increase. Imagine how much money could be saved if premier league football matches and other key events were 50/50 L1 specials and regulars.

So got a phone call today from Occ Health, saying that the company they outsource the urine specimens to for testing, have lost my samples!! It's is after 5 weeks of waiting!! This happen to anyone else/ever heard of it happening before?? I have to go back in and do the whole process over again..
