Hi guys! How is everyone? I have 3 workshops left on foundation, and i have not yet received an attestation date or even been assigned a station! Who do you think i could contact at netley? Preferbly someone who won't bite my head off for asking.

Hi everyone I know I haven't properly introduced myself yet, I've been floating round for a few years and have posted a few things recently so I'll start by saying hi! I'm Jake, I've been a Police Support Volunteer for two years and I'm finally making the jump up to Special Constable! I've just passed my interview and fitness tests and sent my vetting forms off and pre employment module stuff off on Friday but I'm just wondering, what happens next? When I went to the fitness test the PTI who was taking it said that the recruitment team usually give a talk at the end of the test but they weren't there for ours because they don't work evenings, and I'm guessing this is …

Anyone else spotted this on Facebook. Everyone seems to be kicking up a right stink about it.... I think the Hants media team could have explained the situation a little better than what they have. Hi, I am going through the recruitment process currently and am being put forward to the gateway exam. I was just wondering: What should I do to prepare? How does it work is it a multiple choice exam only? Is the exam scenario based? Thanks in advance!!!!

Hi guys quick question. I have search training today do we need to wear our uniform or gym kit? It did not say in the joining instructions and I'm getting different answers from different people.

Just a thought that's been bugging me for a short while. I notice around the place, on the intranet, on warrant cards and even on the @HantsSpecials twitter account, there seems to be this disctinction between 'Police Officers' and 'Special Constables'. I'm sorry but since when are Special Constables not Police Officers? Surely it should be 'Regular Officers' and 'Special Constables'? As a case in point, the twitter tag line is "Special Constables are volunteers who work alongside police officers across Hampshire & the Isle of Wight." Thoughts?

Hi all, I have my assessment coming up on 13 November, which is great! Obviously I have been preparing non stop when I get the time off work, but I do have one small question regarding the interview… Is it essential to use the entire 5 minutes we are allocated for one of the competency questions? At the moment I am drawing from my own experiences, however I find that even with huge (quite obvious) references to the CC's, I am only reaching 3 - 3.30 mins. I believe that if I can demonstrate a better quality answer that is slightly shorter, that would score higher than if I tried to fill the remaining 1.30 mins with waffle…. Any info/advice you guys could share would be…

Can anyone in the know of the current driving situation update on what courses are available to SC's? Im aware they've changed response courses and tickets etc recently, but what about A+B, patrol, compliant stops etc, courses more relevant to SC's. Intranet seems to have slightly aged information as far as i could see.. Thanks
