Hampshire Constabulary

Finally got my induction A date! 11th June anyone else on here going to that date? looking forward to it!!

Hey guys, does anyone know when the next Induction B is? Couldn't make the May one!

Hi all, Just wondered who was attending? :D

Alpha Park is to be sold....after costing (so far) nearly £2 million. When purchased it was intended to be the replacement for the police hq at West Hill, Winchester. White elephant? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-22612705 And when I say cost, this doesn't include the purchase price - that was £9 million. I doubt they will be able to sell it for that much given the current state of the market.

Guys and gals.. Recently there was a email from the Town Centre unit asking for assistance. If you've not checked your PNN email address recently, then please pop in and read it. Contact details are in the email. Ta. HB

Hello Just at the stage where I'm putting down my station choices. Don't really know where to put, I've put Winchester as my first choice. As for second choice I'm not sure between, Basingstoke, Andover, Eastleigh. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas/recommendations? Thanks

Could someone please pm me the email address to send the pre-employment knowledge checks to? I've tried a few iterations of the one we're given and it keeps failing. Thanks.

Just wondering if anyone from cohort 4 is on this forum? Completed workshop 7 last night so almost half way!

I recently passed my JRFT and got the email with all the forms attached. The email says "return all forms ... to the Special Constables Recruitment Team at the address above." does this include the vetting form or should that be sent to the PSVU at the address on the vetting form?

Quick question. Bit of a strange one. What do you wear to do an observer shift?? Is it jeans and trainers or like bit more formal?? Cheers

Calling out all Hampshire constabulary officers! I've recently applied to become a Special. So I just wondered if you can give some insight on what it is like to work in the Police force at Hampshire? For example, any funny scenarios you've had to deal with? etc. Many thanks! :new_thanks:

Hi Sorry if this has been posted before, but i'm new to this... I had my assessment on 12/03/13 and have my fitness on 25/04/13. Wonder if anyone can tell me what happens after and how long it takes? Also if I get through, how likely is it that you would get your home town station? Thanks in advance!

Does anybody know how many foundation workshops there are? On the yellow sign of sheets there are about 20 slots or are all the RMS/PST/ILS sections done in one session at netley? matt

Hello ! Can anyone who is attending File Prep tomorrow let me know if the class is at 0900 til 1230 or 1330 til 1700. I have two contradicting emails and don't want to miss it ! - The joining instructions state the later session but an email a few days later say 9am. Can anyone clarify ? Thanks
