David Cameron is reported as going to make an announcement this week that benefits including Housing Benefit for under 25's to be either scrapped or reduced considerably. I concerned that reducing benefits will make more people vulnerable to committing crime to fill the gap by offences such as theft, drive off's and kindred offences. I don't believe that people should be able to spunge off society and live on benefits, but simply scrapping benefits isn't the answer as it will make people more desperate and could lead to all sorts of problems across society from running up debit to offending. How many times have you dealt with someone, after pulling them for a traffic offence... and they always blab on about it not being serious? Well Russia has just produced a clear example of why you should make sure any loads you are carrying are safely secured. Click here to see video: http://piter.tv/event/rostov_kirpich/ Guidance: SAFE FOR WORK - NO SOUND / NO "GORE" I've seen the original with audio and it's horrifying - just goes to prove that that anything can happen on the roads and that RPU really are needed to prevent this sort of thing happening.

I've been to Bermuda many times when I served in the Navy, (the UK used to have a Naval base there, albeit very small!). Anyway, it isn't necessarily the land of paradise some people might think, as the following news link shows: http://www.royalgazette.com/article/20120625/NEWS03/706259933

Ok. I'm currently toying with the idea of a new car... The options are: VW Golf (1.6 diesel) Skoda Octavia (1.6 d) Ford Focus (1.2 ltr) I currently drive an average of 60 miles per day, more if I'm seeing the other half. I currently have a 58 plate Yaris, which is good for short journeys, when driving the amount of miles I do I need something a bit more economical (oh and comfortable!)
