I'm sure allot of us are a victim of this but I just seem to receive a stupid amount of calls from people saying I had an accident. The fact is I did have an accident and the information they have is correct but I wasn't flipping injured and I don't care if "money has been put aside for me" this accident was in 2010 and I have had weekly if not daily calls since. If its a recognised number in my contact as "spam" i normally don't answer but every now and then they seem to change the number or a new company is "passed my information" I got a new one today I quickly explained I wasnt injured said the words good bye and hung up. I was then left an abusive voicemail from th…

News of the World to close amid hacking scandal This Sunday's issue of the News of the World will be the last edition of the paper, News International chairman James Murdoch has said. In the past few days, claims have been made that the paper authorised hacking into the mobile phones of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler and the families of 7/7 bombing victims. Mr Murdoch said proceeds from the last edition would go to good causes. Downing Street said it had no role or involvement in the decision. The News of the World is the UK's biggest selling newspaper and has been in circulation for 168 years. No advertisements will run in this weekend's paper - instead any adver…

I know its not a UK news story but thought it was probably more suited here than the 'policing overseas' forum. Dickens had drunk a bottle of wine before the eight-mile trip - which he said he could not remember CCTV footage has been released showing a drunk motorist driving for a mile through Lincoln city centre with a wheel missing from his car. Philip Dickens, 28, lost the front wheel after hitting a wall on his way into the city from his home in Witham St Hughs, eight miles away. Police stopped the dazed motorist when he got out of the Seat Ibiza and he failed a breathalyser test. At Lincoln Crown Court, he admitted dangerous driving and received a ban. I was looking for some cool police pictures when I came across this article about the cut's to the police and army and the amount of MP's we have. Have a read and let me know what you think. (website is a bit weird but its the article that counts) http://femaleimagination.wordpress.com/2012/07/08/why-not-cut-half-the-mps-not-police-and-army/ Why not cut half the MP’s, that would save us enough to keep all the frontline police and army officers. It’s a simple question of what we need more police/army or MP’s?
