Sorta surprised there isn't a thread on this but hey ho... Just one question really, just where did flight MH370 go? It's unprecedented that a modern airliner goes 'missing' without a single trace for FIVE DAYS. I can't imagine the frustration, grief and anguish being felt by the families of the passengers and crew of those on-board, all seems very odd. BBC Video Report

Is anyone planning on getting a new BMW via the police/forces scheme at Park Lane? I've recently ordered one and get £150 referral if I refer anyone via this scheme. Always worth asking on the off chance someone is looking into it.

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/may/04/i-was-guilty-constance-briscoe-decptionI consider myself a feminist and Vikki Pryce absolutely disgusts me. Her use of the defence that she used in Court was a complete affront to gender equality. Having read this article by Chris Huhne, the story gets even more interesting finding out about (ex) Judge Briscoe. She accused her own mother of child abuse, who then sued her for libel and lost. Ironically, it seems that her own mother was on the verge of being evicted from her house to pay her legal bills. I am sure that an appeal will now follow! I will never lower myself to say that I feel sorry for Huhne. Whilst a m…

Danish study over two years finds that raising limits helps to cut accidents and fatalities Motoring groups have backed a Danish report which claims that increasing speed limits is safer – but there are question marks over whether it could be easily implemented in the UK. The study, carried out over two years by the Danish Road Directorate, looked at how driver behaviour and accident rates changed when speed limits were raised on single-carriageway rural roads and motorways. One of the key findings was that after raising limits on two-way rural roads from 50mph to 56mph, accidents fell, due to a drop in the speed differential between the fastest and the slowest…

57% support introducing a four day working week in the UK – and 71% say it would make Britain happier For four of the next seven weeks, Britain will be at work for only four days. In this rare time of year, the nation gets a taste of what is, for some people, not only a vision for human advancement but a serious economic proposal. Supporters of the idea argue that, if everyone worked a four day week, we would work harder in the days we did work and spend more money in the days off. A new YouGov survey finds that most people (57%) would support introducing a four day working week in the UK. 28% would oppose and 15% don’t know. In 2010 David Cameron said it…
