I know this is News, but I'd also like to have a general discussion on the weak sentencing for this case and how things really need to change, Source: http://www.wbtimes.co.uk/news/viagra_hoarding_dollis_hill_cocaine_dealer_avoids_a_stiff_sentence_1_832141 So for 5 counts of PWITS Class A and Class B he gets a 12month sentance suspended for 2 years??? How on earth do people get away with stuff like that? Right now hes walking the streets laughing at the justice system. Or is there something I've missed?

Been thinking about this for a while, random thought but as time goes on seems more fitting.. Should the Police make a move to make themselves more identifiable again? We all (somemore than others) wear hi viz jackets when patrolling etc...but then so does every other man and his dog literally...Everyone from a dog walker to public workers, con men, security, community wardens wear yellow high viz. Nights just turn into a see of yellow some evenings even to a point where sat in the battle bus playing 'what is that person?' It is only when you see what is written on their back you can (sometimes) work it out. Railways wear orange specifically as do one or two other ind…

I will probably sound like the biggest loser (not the weight program kind, the geek kind) but I don't care... On my way to work this morning I was about to get off the A2 at Darenth and a few seconds before in my rear view mirror I watched a Police Officer on a motorbike manage to stop all three lanes of traffic and create a road block! One officer, three lanes of traffic, one of the busiest parts of the A2, and he/she managed it in about 5 seconds. It was well good! I've never seen them do that before and it was literally two cars behind me. Thank god I was infront because I didn't fancy sitting on there all morning

I came across this on YouTube. I was wondering why the controller tells the PCSO to keep his distance, but then he attempts to detain Veitch. Or have I missed something

You may remember on one of my previous posts i mentioned i was being put on hold to get my BMI down to 35, and when i have done this, i needed to ring a number in order to tell to them i have lost the weight and they will put me on a training course, however today i have recieved an email offering me dates to start training, and i need to ring them to confirm my training options, i havent yet rang them about my BMI, do you think they have just forgotten about it? As i can only do Saturdays, my options are to start on the 2nd April and finish on the 24th September! has anyone else got these training dates? Thank you

Is it true that alot of regs look upon specials as being hobby bobbys. Do regs take specials seriously? Do regs respect and treat specials the same? Are regs reluctant to take specials out with them on a shift? Anyone had any experience of the above positive or negative?

Has anyone fallen foul of the WTD? I`m an HGV driver working 45 hours per week and I`m 2 weeks into my Specials training. On Sunday I was told that I may have a problem due to working hours. The trainer stated that because I work 45 hours per week I would only be allowed to work 3 hours on duty to keep me below the 48 hours average maximum weekly working limit. This is calculated,I believe, over a rolling 20 week period(Well,it`s a rolling period at my work!). The training staff would look into it but I may have to have my appointment terminated if I was in breach of the WTD. I had a long, sleepless night but I done a bit of digging about and found out a few interesting f…

I just wondered if anyone ( specials / regulars ) says this / has said this to identify themselves while off duty to other officers? or has anyone had this said to them? I have always thought it was just fiction and you would look pretty silly saying it. Do let me know
